That certainly is possible. But I know that there is NOTHING my ex could do to change the hate I feel toward her. It wouldn't matter if she gave one of my family members an organ, rescued one of our children from certain death, or saved the world from destruction. Her actions are the cause of my hate, and there isn't any conceivable way I'll ever stop hating her. Were she to die today, I'd hate her memory. I love my children, but have no contact with them, because they still have a relationship with their mother. Yes, that hurts, but while I wish things were different, they aren't. I haven't spoken to her in years, but still dream of harming her.

Unfortunately, that's probably the case. Usually when the feelings are gone, the bitterness and anger wears off too. There's a thin line between love and hate.

No. Sometimes they just can't get past the hurt feeling of the breakup. It doesn't mean they are still in love with you. It just means they are really good at holding a grudge.

That doesn't sound like envy or jealousy, it sounds more like anger ! And "no" I don't think there are any "mature" feelings for each other. you wouldn't be in this situation, if there were.
