My soon to be ex started sleeping with the newby less than a month after we broke off relations. Think it can last or is it just a gap filler?lol

The newby was probably his NOONER while you were married. Don't worry, they will be miserable.

I think a lot of relationships are rebound relationships. I think that it depends on how much you have learned from the prior one on how long or how bad at least, the next one is going to last or be. What is a gap filler? Everyone in between two significant relationships could be gap fillers but I think you can learn from even the ones that are quite short.
My ex (divorced since 2001) rebounded right into his next wife's arms before the divorce was final but we were waiting for the court date and it was over. Not that I care cuz I don't, but I hear that they argue a bunch. I am thousands of miles away so bully for them. Neither of us cheated but it wasn't an amicable divorce anyhow and I was glad when he bounded over to his next one, he stopped calling and bugging me as much. It stopped almost all of the harassment.

I'm going through the same thing - only I'm the one who moved on so quickly. We lasted about 3 months. He's a great guy but that whole "hindsight is 20/20" thing is telling me I moved on WAY too fast.

nah, it won't last. he hasn't had time to figure out what he wants/needs. he may not realize it yet, but he's just with her while his heart heals from your break-up.
