I'm not in any rush to get married. I have seen many good relationships become horrible marriages and I want to make sure that the person I'm with really is "the one" before making such a huge commitment. Like you, I don't want to end up old and by myself, but I'd rather be able to surround myself with wonderful friends than go through life living in a situation where both myself and a spouse are unhappy -- or worse, living a situation that my daughter is unhappy with.
So, to answer your question, yes I do plan to get married but only if I'm sure it's right.

I was married and divorced but I do plan on getting married again. I hope to find someone who loves me as much as I love them and can spend the rest of my life with them. When 2 people want the same things in each other and are willing to try to make each others lives as happy as they can, they will be the happiest people in the world.

Do not plan on getting married! Marriage comes later.
Plan on meeting the woman of your dreams that you will fall in love with. The rest comes naturally.

I do plan to get married and I would love to have a family. I just want to be sure to do and have those things with the right guy, so it is taking me a little longer than anyone anticipated.

Did not plan on ever getting married and then I found the right guy. If you don't find the right one then keep looking. There is nothing wrong with not being married.

As a man in the USA, I have nothing at all to gain by getting married. My socio-economic status has zero to do with this.
Ladies - You will be lucky to get 'married' today with more and more men wise to the ways of feminism.
Your going to die alone anyway! Your and your spouce are going to die on the same day? HEHE yea right. That is a total myth.
