My wife says she wants to go search her soul after a big fight...what good will it do?is it worth it for saving the marriage?

Sometimes people have to do that, especially during times of high stress. Soul searching isn't necessary finding your soul as much as it is looking into one's self and figuring out where you are, where you want to be and what are the steps to get there. It's good for growth. Maybe you should do some of your own.

It def. is worth it if you Love her.If not then it wont be worth it.So i guess you need to ask yourself of what it is you want and how much or if you still love her.If you do ,then Yes yes yes ...I am in that myself at this moment and know that after a while Man like to give us the feeling of them not carring anymore like they used to ..Alot of it get lost so easy in the every day life and we do not realize it like we should..A fight and the situation you'll in is a way to show and prove what you and her are feeling and wanting and of what is realy still there and what's not..So I would say if you still love her and dont wanna lose her then please do so .Tell her of what you see you didnt give or do and how much you realy still feel for her..You and her will have a few days and nights to talk this out ,which will be needed to get points cross to eachother.Remember talking is A-Z in a realationship.Iam and Iam sure your Wife is at the point where we need to see the actions and words of Love and not just the Words.If there was not shown a lot of actions ,im sure this is realy the reason .So please sit down and get to the bottom of her feeling the way she do,otherwise you cant do what is not known of you doing wrong ...Good luck ..Siggi

only you can decide that. The souls searching often comes with midlife crisis. Is that what's going on here? Or is it an excuse to leave without her placing blame on you?
That's the tough part. If you have kids... work at it... but do it your way. Don't whine at her, beg her or discuss things until she chooses to do so. This book and website will give you some insight.
If nothing changes, or she can't see her way... then you will have tough choices to make.

Let her go. It is a good idea and more than likely it will save your marriage. But make sure hes going for the right reason and Not to talk her self out of being with you...

If its realy true she wants a soul searching YES its worth it , Soul searching mean taking contact with yourself the true person you are

That means many things to a woman. My best advice is to ask her EVERYTHING. Get her to explain things in detail. Fight for your marriage. If you love her, it's more than worth it.
If you show any sort of initiative, like asking her to talk and explain things to you, she'll really appreciate it. All women love it when a man proves he cares and being expressive is a great start.
