My husband cheated several times and I took him back, he'd leave me at home alone night after night while he went out and partied and each time I'd tell him that I couldn't take one more lonely night. He shouts up and down about how much he loves me and how he wants to stay with me but he's not willing to give up the streets completely for his family. He was good for about 2 and a half weeks mabey even three(a record) and last night he left at 12 and came back at three. That was the straw that broke the camels back , I know he's not going to change. I'm not happy, and the wounds from his repeated infidelity are still fresh and raw. He dosen't believe that I'm really done because I've taken him back so many times but now I'm SERIOUS and can't imagine staying with him- I don't have the money or the resourses to pack up and go but he does that's why I'm trying to get him to go. Loving him use to be so easy but now all I can do is put walls up so I don't get burned again - What now???

So I met this guy a on Friday on aol chat, and we went to a motel on the first date. I told him that i wasnt going to have sex with him, we were just going to drink and hangout and he said he wasnt looking for sex he just wanted to hang out too. Well, I got really drunk and we ended up having sex. Saturday, we did the same thing. Today, he didnt call me and i saw him online, and he was in chat rooms I IMed him and he wasnt really talking to me. I really like him but I think he just wants me as a sex buddy. Please dont think that I am a slut its just that Ive been lonely for 7 months, and I really like the affection he was showing me. I dont usually have sex with guys I meet online. Do you think I should stop seeing him? Is he using me? Have you ever been in a friendship like this ? And Finally how can I seperate my feelings, I hate the fact that I always end up getting my feelings involved and I really dont want to get hurt or used.

I was married for 23 yrs. I was a stay at home mom. When things went bad we decided to divorce.
My husband and I own a business since 1995. Our house was his families for 90 yrs. My husband contacted a lawyer be for he talked to me. When he came home, he told me I had to move. He also said that I have no rights when it comes to the business. I was a " Silent Partner". He claims that the only thing he has to do is pay my rent. It's been 8 mo. We still haven't had a court date. His lawyer keeps changing the dates. He has given me a few bucks here and there.
I suffer from bi-polar. I can't afford the meds. Now I am at the bottom of the biggest hole ever. Some days I can't even get out of bed. Then there are the days I wish I was dead. He keeps telling me to get a job. I've explained to him that I can't funtion enough to hold down a job.
Doesn't he owe me more than that. I worked 23 yrs, 24/7. We had four kids together. I did everything for him. I need help in so many ways.

He's been seeing this medical student. She'll graduate in a few months and move away. Should I confront him still? Or just let it go till she leaves him? I am afraid if i confront him, he'll get mad and act like nothing is going on between them. I asked him about it before, and he said there was nothing, but i know he's still seeing her.

How important would her income be if you were considering her for a wife? Would it be okay if she earned a salary of ~$36,000? What would be considered not enough income for the partnership to be considered equal?

I would like to know for my own reference.

Use details, please. I got the time to listen. Thank you.

divorce senario: my friend has been seperated and in the divorce process for 2 years now. it's coming down to the wire here in a couple of weeks. his lawyer asked her to bring all of her financial papers for the past 2 years. so he just found out she quit her job so she would have $0 income when she got to court. she's trying to take him for everything and he's scared. the saddest thing is when they were married he adopted her daughter (which she had previous and the father didn't stay around). he's taken that responsibility and remained in her life and pays non-court ordered child support for her, $600 a month. i feel bad that he's been so generous and now his ex is trying to take him for everything...have you been through a divorce? if so...how likely is it that he will get "robbed"?
FYI
she left and came back several times before he changed the locks! now she is shacked up with her new bf which gives him suspicion of cheating!

It's been forever since I've seen my kids, I've written them and sent them presents through the years, I've gotten very little if any response, mostly due to what their mother has taught them, It's been 15 years, what do I do now, walk away, or keep trying? It hurts so much, and I'm so discouraged and tired!!?

This is very early in the relationship, but he didn't go through with it.. what are the odds that he will cheat later on? I do know of a few relationships that have gone through this.. One of these couples have been together 6 years; he was tempted early on, but didn't go through with it, his wife found a "number" but he regretted it, and hasn't done anything since. Another couple in the same boat, it's been three years since.. And the last couple I know, it's just happened. Again, it's like these guys were tempted very early on in their relationshiops, got phone numbers, you know, but then they didn't go through with cheating. Does this mean that they probably won't do anything knowing what they almost lost or are they still likely to fall again.
