You have a passion for life! Awesome! Now, think about what you want to do next! My parents seemed old in their thirties. I thought turning 30 was the most depressing thing. Boy, was I wrong! I got my first tattoo at 39, my nose pierced at 40, boob implants three weeks ago...I'm 48 and there's no telling what life has ahead of me! I haven't been on a cruise, so that's on next years' agenda. I hope to start a new business in the next few years. And I wanna move closer to the ocean . And..And..And... Yes, I sound like a 15 year old. So what? The people my age seem to be middle aged..ick. But, I'm a responsible mom, gramma, home owner, happily married , small business owning woman. My parent are in their 70's and have their cemetery plots paid for. They miser their money, so us kids get it later. But, being tioo responsible is one thing. I have life insurance, but know that I need and want to live too. And have alot of fun doin' it. You sound awesome! Your'e just in a personal rut.

What an inspiration you are, and can be to many people. I know you just have to find friends that are kind of in you situation and you will have a ball, again.I remember when I was doing well (botched back surgery-stupid attorney forgot to sue) I started to start my own group because it says whatever you want to have people get in there and talk about. I must not know the real way to "Surf" the web, but you could even start a web page. That would be fun in and of itself and I think those hands of time will wind back quickly. God Bless, Dianne

There are a million people envying you at this moment for having done all that you have!! It is hard to imagine what to tell you to try next because you have done it all. you might try finding somewhere you are needed and see if that helps the way you feel, for example in the areas recovering from Katrina.
the only other thing I can think of, try to find senior groups online who do things you think would be fulfilling or perhaps see some of the things they do and decide that would be for you - perhaps buying a sailboat, for example, and sailing from New York to San Francisco.

You seem to be one of those people who thrives on having fun and making the most of life but the downside to your "being restricted and isolated by age" is you are doing too much travelling and having too much fun. Where will it end? It's nice to say "yes I have done this, that and the other", but what have you REALLY done in your life to fulfil it? Nothing that's why you still have that empty void.
