I had to get read of a lot of my old pictures when my husband went through my things. It's not worth the hassle get read of them. At this point it doesn't matter who is right or wrong the pictures are making him jealous so get read of them for the sake of your marriage. What is more important here you keeping the pictures or keeping your husband happy. After all they are only pictures.

He is not right, and It doesn't matter if he is right or not, what matters is how important these pictures are for you, it's your story and your past and it will be nice if you share with him and find a negotiation point, are you going to have then next to your pillow where you are with another guy, or in a box somewhere in the house?. Find the point in the house where both like to have those pictures, but make sure you don't through them away, unless they aren't important for you, your oppinion and your husband oppinion are important. Time to negotiate with him, he needs to know 100% of your personal oppinion and you need to listen to his 100% personal oppinion and together walk and find a ridiculous solution for 8 years old pictures.!!! Give me a break!

Nope, just because you get married doesn't mean that you didn't have a past or that you can't have male friends. Jealousy is an emotion derived from insecurities. Both of which are a negative foundation for a marriage or any relationship for that matter.

First - you need to be supportive and respectful of his feelings. Think about it if the tables were turned and it was pictures of him and women... These "male friends" - were they romantic? pictures aren't worth problems in your marriage. scrap them and let your husband know that he is very special and you respect his feelings and re-enforce that the pictures didn't mean anything and kiss and make-up. Marriage is so important and sometimes people let things get in the way and cause problems. Life is too short to argue about pictures.

Depends on the pictures, but generally, I'd say he's overreacting! I mean, if you are naked and partying down with the guys, or you were really sexually involved with one... I could see where he might have concerns.. but, just a picture that has you and some coworkers... please! Does he think you didn't have a life before him?

I'm a little torn on this subject. I don't think it's fair to get rid of momentos from your past to make him happy BUT if it is making him that unhappy, what is more important to you, the pics or his happiness? Try to find a solution. You don't want a awkwardness in your marriage over something little.

Personally, I think it is silly to be jealous of a picture but if it makes him unhappy, keep the ones with the children in them and get rid of the rest.
