We have been married thirty years this November. Ten years out of the blue she decided she no longer was interested. I refuse to hit the streets or bar hop. I'm truly at a lost, tired of gratifying myself. Someone help!!!

My husband and I are not religious. We are Atheists. My husband has a friend that is very religious. This weekend my husband was invited to go to a men's Bible Camp with him. I am thinking "Promise Keepers." He was invited last year as well and our therapist said it was asinine for my husband to even consider stretching his time (and mine) even further by attending something like this. My husband has made repeated comments about not going to Bible Camp this weekend. Like he did me a huge favor. The whole thing makes no sense. It's like he has a low self esteem and changes with each friend.
It seems so silly to spend time on something that he doesn't even believe in... he even makes fun of this guy on my clock.

Not here to debate religion!!! You won't change my mind. Please just turn the question around as to whether you would want your spouse to go to Atheist Camp if you are a devout Christian.

When i was dating my guy, i really had more fun than now we are married. I find so much fault in him. The last time, it has to do with my pregnancy and the fatigue but he showed no response of helping me out and this time, it has to do with me being sick, he is not caring at all.
why is it that marriage is kinda sore but friendship is fun?

Ok here is the problem, what would you do? A friend borrowed some money from m...about $750.00, and promised to pay it back the following month with interest. It has now been 15 months and no money. The friend calls from time to time to see how I've been, but doesn't make any mention of the money. Do you bring it up, do you live and learn and say "never again"? This person has a great job now, making lots of money, so I'm almost sure this person can afford to pay me back. While I don't know their finances, I do know this person has bought a new automobile.

I don't want to ruin our friendship, but I just don't know what to do? What would you do?

Yesterday, my husband and I got into a huge fight and I ended up (very mistakingly I know) spitting on him. He got out of the car in a rage, pushed me against the wal in the garage, and followed me on my way back in the house and pushed me twice again before spitting on me too. I made a comment on one of his family memeber who would have called the cops in the same situation, and this mornig he told me he wished he wouldn't have pushed me, but he "warned" me he would slap me if I ever talekd about his family again.
The argument started back later in the morning and I ended telling him I wouldn't let people take advtage of me anymore, that it had been enough. He took that for a complaint towards his family, came in the room I was, told me never to talk about his family again, and before I realized anything he slapped me. He's never done it before (in 9 years of marriage). Does it sound like an isolated act of rage, or domestic violence?

My husband doesn't touch me, kiss me or even make love to me. He snores when I try to touch him, and If I bring up the topic, he just dismisses it and tells me that he doosn't like sex. But he wasn't like this when we met, we've been married for 6 years and have 3 lovely boys for him. I have tried everything I can. I feel like divorcing him, but for the kids sake I need your help.

after several years of marriage she found out that he had a CSC charge that he neglected to tell her about. After which... He gave her false information about the details of his crime. Leading her to believe that the case was not as serious as she recently found out after they had become separated. She was a widow when she met this man and owned her Home, property and vehicles free and clear. He owned nothing! Now He wants every thing he has accumulated durring there marriage and half the equity of her Home. Unfortunatly she lives in Michigan where it is a No Fault State. Also according to Michigan Rules of Evidence 609 She can't bring up his Felony Conviction in the divorce Hearings unless He brings it up. Which we know of coarse..He won't! Just before he left we found out that my Mother has been Diagnosed with a rare Liver Disease and is termanally ill. So my question is... Do you know of any Divorce cases Where an MRE 609 was Accepted by a Judge or is there a way to HELP my Mother?

My wife and I have been married for 2 years and together for three. In the 2 years we have been married we have only had sex a handfull of times. A week before we married she accused me of cheating on her(not true) and she almost called the marriage off.
We went ahead anyway with the wedding, she thought getting married would help her get past her newfound issues. We now entered into a sexless marriage. In 2 years I think we have only been intimate 6 times. She wants nothing to do with sex or touching or anything. It makes me a very frustrated, angry, depressed man.
I have sunk into a disgusting world of pornography and masterbating. I feel like scum doing this teenage habit. We have went to counseling both solo and couple, and the Dr, pretty much told her to get a grip and put this issues in the past and move on. She did not like this at all and became even more frigid. I am ready to end this and regain my confidence and manhood back. Any suggestions? Thanks. I am 27 and she is 29

I had to make a decision as to whether or not to go back to my ex-husband who is verbally abusive and controlling. My daughter was living with him up until a few weeks ago. He sent her to me so that we could both decide what to do.

I was and am still in two minds as you can see from my Yahoo Answers questions.

I have decided to keep my child here with me.

She keeps saying that I did not make the right decision. I feel bad because she has enjoyed life with her Dad from the age of 10 until now and he is a lively, fun person. He is also more communicative than me.

She also makes comments about how I cook, clean and do housework living with my parents and ran away from it when I was with a family which is not true.

How do I handle her comments?

she lived with me for 2 months then her boy friend wanted her to move out. She had no one to help her get an apartment, her credit was bad. I signed a year lease for her. She paid all her bills off then skipped out on the last two months of the lease, now I owe 4,000.00 something dollars to an apartment complex. When i requested the money from her she threatened me with a restraining order that she would get me for harrassment

My husband is the only one working right now as I quit my job 3 months ago. I have my own personal money saved and have put most of that money in with the household money so my husband would have to support the family alone.

The lie.... there was this pair of killer earrings at the jewerly store that I had to have. They were 1700 buck but on sale for 700. I put them on a charge account that we already have....even though it didn't affect of payments I had to tell my husband that my mom gave them to me because he would have laid a golden cow if he thought that I bought them myself. Should I just let it slide or tell him the truth anyway?

It is a waste of time and money. Check the statistics. The only way your spouse will change their behavior is if they decide to. They chose to be happy and choose to be jerks. You choose if you want to tolerate it but know that no counselor can rescue you from yourself or your crappy marriage. It is up to you. It is your life. Take control of it.

What makes people decide to stop waving at each other. For example, I have a neighbor that always used to wave when he drove or walked by my house. Now he has stopped, and doesn't wave back to me. He acts like we have never met. Why?

I have been committed to my newly ex-GF for two years, we've been living together the entire time. My ex-wife (of ten) years and I have maintained somewhat of a friendship mostly phone calls. Initially we had more contact, she would call when she needed help, and I have no problem with that. I also attended one pre-Christmas get-together with some of her immediate family, GF not invited due to her sensitivity on the friendship.
I am fully aware of my GF's insecurity over this matter, and feel like she considers her feelings more important than mine. At first, I'd take calls in front of her, she wasn't feeling it so the ex stopped calling when I was home, I don't spend time with family I've known and loved for ten plus years.
Also how bad would it be to maybe once every two months to have lunch in public with my ex?
