you can expect to pay child support if for a fact the child is yours.if you aren't married demand paternity test first do not assume the kid is yours if its not do not get saddled by support forever.if you are in the process of a divorce and there is even a shadow of doubt concerning paternity you must ask for those test before your divorce is finalized.otherwise you have no rights to later down the road.but if this is your child you will pay support no matter what.the friend of the court sets the amount and in most states it comes out of your paycheck before you ever get it.good luck.next time use a condom every time no matter what the woman says better safe than sorry!!!

Ok ISH, go to google - and look up CHILD SUPPORT CALCULATOR "YOUR STATE". Pick one of them - about 50 or more will come up - they all pretty much are the same.
Enter in the information they ask, and it will give you a pretty close estimate of wht you will probably be ordered to pay.
If it ends up that that amount is going to make it rough to get by, you will probably have to get a 2nd job, but you need to do two things - #! - make sure your schedule works around your visitation with the child #2 - don't let the mother of your child know you have the 2nd job, because if she is not a very nice person, she can turn around and try to get a percentage of it as well.

Your child support is based on your income, the other parent's income, the number of minor children of your relationship, the amount of time for visitation, and any extenuating circumstances (such as serious medical problems of the child(ren)). It's based on a formula and you'll know pretty quickly what you owe. Always pay your support, or if you don't have the entire amount, pay what you can and notify the child support enforcement office. What you don't want to do is have a lot of unpaid child support build up...

From child support?? LOL expect no mercy and this is a woman talking to you.. but is the truth Gosh I hope you don' t live in Florida is better to be in Death Row than Child Support I am not lying, they might go by your income but believe me is going to hurt your packets and if you don' t pay they will trow you in jail and take your driver's license your fishing license and anything is a license, you better off letting them take the money out your pay check because they don't tolerate late payments.. your in for a ride.. wish you luck.

well, whether you wanted this child or not you have to be a man and step up to the plate. I know it's scary, my husband had to go through it before we were married and he just had to get a better job and make plenty of sacrefices. Imagine all the changes in the mother's life and it is not cheap! Just go in it with a positive attitude. it also helps if you see your child and have an active, positive role in the child's life and then it won't even matter how much you pay because you'll see it is well worth it.

Hate to break it to you but they can take 1/2 your paycheck, they only do that though if you get really far behind.
Chances are they will make you pay so much out of each check, probably garnish your paycheck to make sure it is paid.
Don't whine about barely making it, you helped create the child you should help take care of it.
But make sure the money is going for the child and not for the womans new clothes, cars nails and nights out.

Expect to pay for your child. Why you would worry about court and not if your child has enough to eat. If you were a man you would of did the right thing first...no not marry her...just take basic care of your child. Dont give me the I cant even see my child crap. Its time to stand up and take it like a man. The judge is not going to take all your money. If you have your own place to live. They have to leave you enough to live...ever think about a 2nd job ? or not going out with the guys 3 times a week. If you live with your Mom the judge should take all your money, TIME TO MAN UP !!!

You should expect to pay around 20% of you salary, for one child, and up for more children involved. It's hard, but you'll have to adjust your life accordingly. If you don't pay, you risk jail time, so make sure to keep your payments current. Best wishes!
