I was just curious, does the mood you are in at the time you read a marriage question have an effect on the answer you give? I have noticed that when I'm a little ticked at my husband, my answers sometimes reflect it. Then, again, when we are enjoying our night, I seem to be more emotional and caring in my answers. So does the person who ask the question, which is sometimes serious, need to remember that they have no idea what lies behind the answers they get? By the way, it's a boring night of baseball!!!!

i am currently dating a divorced man. we have been together for about 5 months now. we spend a lot of time together and we enjoy each other's company. well that is wat he says, he enjoys my company and has fun with me, he says he likes me alot. his wife cheated on him while they were married and he has been divorced now for about 4 years. i am not in a rush for anything but he says he wants to take his time.he says, he feels our relationship has the potential to turn into marriage one day, he says he just needs time cuz although "he is over her, he still doesn't understand why she cheated and were things went wrong"..he is i guess still trying to work things out in his head. He is 40 and with a 7 yr old son whom i also love spending time with..i know guys express themselves differently than us and i appreciate him opening up and being honest with me.i am being patient with this cuz again there is no rush. wat is he really battling with?wat answers is he seeking?does he still luv her?

i have been with my husband for 13 years. we have four children, one daughter died at birth. the others 5,6,9 yrs. We finally decided to get married 10 months ago, because he finally changed. he is on meds for depression and it made a world of difference. He used to be mean to me, sometimes physical, but not extreme. but he is a changed man, i thought. He told me 4 days ago he kissed someone else. He says he loves me and wants to work things out with me but i cant help but feeling he doesn't love me anymore. He has hurt me so deeply all i do is cry, i cant even function normally. someone help-he is 38 and i am 34.is it a midlife thing? is it me? how should I respond? should I 'kiss his butt" cuz thats what i want to do to make him happy, but is that the right thing? Help! i feel desparate.

I am sure there must be an alternative to marriages. I am not suggesting a moral or immoral life ... but a practical one considering today's lifestyle which shows that this institution of marriage is not working anymore.
Also we must analyse in a practical reasons the causes for divorces and heartbreaks and seek really good alternative solutions.
I think a lot has to do with security and the question of children as well.
Looking for some serious answers.

Its my 21st bday today and I just want the day to be over. My b/f dumped me 6 months ago after dating for 2 yrs, and has never called me since. My life is so boring and lonely. I hate being single. I have friend, but they are not "good" people. I work and go to college and I dont want to be single anymore, but I cant find a man. I hate my body and feel so ugly. I'm considering plastic surgery. All I really want is to find a man who will love me with all his heart, so that we can build a life together.

Well, I'm in school full-time and will be graduating next year. For the past years, I've worked full-time. But this whole year, I haven't worked, only concentrating in school. We don't have financial problem to start with. He makes enough to support me and the bills but the thing is that he thinks I'm a freeloader. In the past I took control of the bills, we saved tons of money, but due to his saying that I'm a control freak, i let him take over. Now, he knows it's not his field, yet won't admit it or give it back to me. Each money, he gives me some amount of money. I told him the money (allowance) he gives me is mine to keep and spend, so he shouldn't be bothering me with bills and other things. So after I said that, he called me I'm a freeloader, using him for the money, WTF! It's not like I'm gonna stay umemployed forever, I will be working once I'm graduated. Can't men be satisfied for once?

I was thinking of buying a hot-fudge sundae and splitting it with her and I would hide the ring on the bottom of the sundae. Ok the reason I ask this is because in the summer time where I live it gets about 110. I am a f/t student and have to walk all over campus all day and also just generally. I get this musky smell down there and I sweat a lot down there and under my breast a lot. What are some tips on staying fresh longer? This only happens to me in the summer.

Last night my husband and I were making out. Earlier he told me he had things do, so i stopped our making out session and told him to go do those things, then we could just be together and not be bothered. He then said "Ok then i will do them tomorrow".....this would not have been bad, but I aksed my husband if i just wanted you to watch tv with me would you still put your things off for me and he said no. my name is...im 16 years old...I have 5 sisters one whom I am very close to she is 18 she is married with 2 kids(yes I know she is young)anyways...Last monday I got a phone call from her,she was crying she said to go to her house,to not call back and to not ask questions.I worried so I rushed over.When I got there she was crying and she told she wanted to leave that she wanted to "get out of here".I thought she was having some kind of nervous breakdown.She told me that her husband had beat her up because she wouldnt go inside when he told her to, so he beat her up.he was in the bathroom when I got there so I banged on the door and accidentally made a hole in the door.I confronted him,he didn't say a word.After two days my sister got back together with him and he told her that I was never allowed in their house again.I don't know if I should've interfered.He doesn't want her talking to me either. recently went thru a divorce and have lost alot of wieght...I'm a pretty small girl as it is...I'm 5'3 and weight about 118-120 normally well now I'm down to like 102...i've lost alot and know cant seem to gain it back....when I get depressed I have no desire to eat...I wish it was the other way around but it's not....what can I do to gain my wieght back...plz help.....my clothes even feels disgusting on me....I soo hate my body right now...
