I think your reaction is very, very normal. I think you are suffering from anxiety - it's so close to him being home and safe. Keeping busy is a very good thing to do. Try to find some community service work to do if you have some free time.

Bless you and your husband for making the sacrifices you are both making in order to keep this country safe.

Try to find a creative outlet to put your emotions into. Staying busy will just supress them. Paint, draw, write poetry, express your emotions and you will decrease the stress. You might make some great work to share with others.

First take a breath, then fall to your knees and thank whatever power kept him safe and will bring him home in one piece. While you're down there, ask for guidance and strength to help both of you adjust to life together again. Remember that a man who has seen war may need time to readjust to the boring everyday life we take for granted. Hold him close to you often and remember these stressful feelings so you never take him for granted.

congratulations!.. you man is coming back safe and sound. Youre excited because hes coming home and stressed because youre not sure what to expect. try getting some regular excersise everyday.. that will help relax you. also, if you want to de-stress.. try cutting back on coffee.

Nothing is really going to do it for you, because a watched pot never boils, but you can't help watching the pot anyway. The great news is that your husband is coming home, and congratulations are in order. God bless you both.

Go take up boxing, bicycling, or something where you can exert your pent up stress. I love to just box at the bag when I want to destress. Try it trust me it helps!!

I think maybe you feel guilty for masturbating so much. Though its nothing to be guilty of.
