Ok the reason I ask this is because in the summer time where I live it gets about 110. I am a f/t student and have to walk all over campus all day and also just generally. I get this musky smell down there and I sweat a lot down there and under my breast a lot. What are some tips on staying fresh longer? This only happens to me in the summer.

Don't use Summer's Eve or anything... this can cause yeast infections which will only compound the problem. Sometimes I have this same problem and I've found that this really works...

I just wash with water and maybe squeeze my body wash ball on my belly so that a LITTLE bit of soap runs down. Shaving and trimming also dramatically helps reduce odor. After the shower I use an antibacterial hand sanitizer or, if I am freshly shaved, I use an antibacterial hand lotion on my underwear line where you would sweat. This kills any odor causing bacteria. I then follow up with an alcohol-based body spray. When I'm completely dry I put some baby powder or Gold Bond powder on my underwear line and on the inside of my thighs where I would sweat. This has cured for me what you are describing.

I see alot of people answering and suggesting Summers Eve and V-jayjay deoderants. The truth is that you need to be careful with that stuff. They can kill the "good" bacteria along with the bad, then leave you with a raging yeast infection and you'll have a whole new problem! All you need is a bit of vinigar with some water and cornstarch under your breast (very weird but that's what they use in nursing homes, just a small amount...I promise you won't like, make doe under your boobs or anything)

Ladies should wear loose jeans and cotton underwear. A light sprinkle of a baking soda based powder would help to control sweating and odor. Look for DRI FIT fabrics and keep a stash of baby wipes for on the spot freshness.

You're not wearing satin underwear, are you? Moisture tends to remain in satin more so than in cotton. Secondly, if it's that hot, and you're out in the sun, anyone will sweat, so don't worry about that. What I don't get is why the musky odor? I don't mean this to be malicious in any way, but are you overweight? If you have to, carry a small hand-held fan with you. No, don't aim it at your privates, but aiming at your face will fool your body into believing that it's cooler.

Well, shaving off all the pubic hair and wearing cotton underwear will keep that area healthier and breathier. I would also suggest using baby powder after taking a shower under your breasts and between your thighs to keep you feeling fresh.

Summer's Eve has wipes you can carry in your purse and always carry extra liners. You can also use powder in the morning to help absorb some of the moisture.

Wear scented panty liners and every time you go the restroom change it and keep a travel size baby wipes container in your purse or those women's personal hygiene wipes and wipe your sweaty areas. It gets 100+ here too and that's what I do =)
