hello...i'm a 22 yr old woman. i got married 3 months ago. we had dated for 3 yrs and he's 27. i thought marriage would be the best thing to happen to me but it's beeing proved otherwise.....we guys bicker over small issues. i must confess i'm the one to start it most of the times...i just mean to be playful...he plays along too but then we end up having a big argument. he does come up to me to make it up but........
i hate it when he treats me like a baby...i mean he's a great guy and all but when it comes to decision making...i'm left out most of the times. i not outta uni yet but that doesn't mean i'm a kid. it irritates me when i'm all so excited about something and he's cool about it. i feel like he takes it to be too immature of me. i know he's older but not that much. it really irks me. wat do i do? i've noticed we end up arguing on everything and then he comes back to me....i do like it...but he treates me like a child...wat do i do?

I am 28 years old and have been married to my husband for almost three years now. About a year ago he had a severe episode which included paranoia, panic attacks, sleeplessness and was suicidal which resulted in a hospital stay. After he was released, his pyschiatrist diagnosed him as bipolar. This past year with him has been a real roller coaster for me and he's lost two jobs due to his illness. I am not sure if he's ever going to be able to work productively again. The worst thing is that he's in denial about his mental illness and there have been three times this year where he procedes to stop taking his meds (Zyprexa). We have no children together and even though I love him I am extremely hesitant about commiting the rest of my life to him knowing the sacrifices I am going to have to make. I will most likely have to support him financially and I do not want to have children with him. Is this selfish of me to want out? Any advice would help.

My husband has this invention that he wants to go to this show to promote. He wasn't planning on going because he didn't think his invention was going to be done by then but it turns out it is, so it's only been the last month and 1/2 that he's been planning this. Well the show is going to cost a total of about $1500-2000 to go to, which we were working hard to make sure we had. However he lost his job 2 weeks ago and he just started a new job yesterday. He still thinks he's going to this show even though he missed 2 weeks worth of pay. So I came up with a plan that if he works the next 4 or 5 saturdays and also cuts his child support in half then he will have the money to go to the show. He can repay the child support after the show. He's trying to act like he shouldn't have to go the extra mile for this show that he should just be able to take the money used to pay our bills to go. What do you think?? Oh and I am 9 months pregnant!!!!!!

S Why would a wife say?
what does it mean when your wife of 8 months tells you for 3 months that she cannot be intimate with you, that it is not in her heart to be intimate with you? and you havent cheated or done anything wrong.

My husband was nice at first then turned mean. Are guys like this always or do it wear off at some point. Oh yeah he take meds too and he has bi-p. He comes in the house storming mad. If I'm watching his tv he immediatelys comes in turns the tv off. or change the program. He grabs people stuff like my fan puts it in his room not thinking I'm gonna need it. Gets mad when I take it back saying I'm gonna need it myself. So whats the problem with this behavior. I be thinking thats its work related but he like his buddys at work. He calls them when he's not working. So whats the deal.

my husband took the step that i couldn't make. He asked for space bcuz he was tired of all the fighting. I am so sad beacuse I aked him to forgive me for my mistakes and to give us a chance and all he could say was that he needed his space. My brothers found out about our fighting and how bad it got they went over to our apt. and helped me take almost everything. why because there was a lot of verbal and physical abuse between the both of us. Now yesturday when he told me we needed space I was surprised to see him cry for the first time. God I love him and miss him already but he was right in doing this. How do I cope with the pain and with the fact that my brothers want to kill my Love??? He says he still loves me and not to see any one else and I said the same thing. Could things ever change and get better if we do this? I Love him so much and forgave him for his harmful ways. what should I do? I really love him...

Yes, of course knowing that she would require you to wait a while also, but not necessarily for marriage, just to lay out a solid relationship before introducing the physical aspects? What would you do if she told you this?

My husband now cheated on me when were still engaged. Even though it was not a physical affair, he had feelings for someone else and had a relationship with her. They broke up because he was busted by his sister and he said he totally regretted it. We went through some counselling before we were married and he has been faithful ever since. It's been a year, but i still remember what he did to me. He did some very bad lies and deception and i remember them all. It has been more than a year and it still hurts so bad when i remember because we loved each other so deeply. I still couldn't believe that that happened between us. Now he keeps telling me he loves me but in the back of my mind, i wonder if he's just patronizing me or if he truly does love me. I am always fearful that he will betray me again. When will i get over this? I honesty try each day but it's so hard.

i want to get back with her but i dont know how to do it because i dont want to look desperate and like an idiot to break up and be the one running back

2007-07-19 03:41:10 · 17 answers · asked by Anonymous

I do. People think that love is enough but it isn't. Sure people eventually change and sometimes the marriage survives but the heartache...... You need to agree on how many children you want. How you will raise them. How will you handle money and in-laws. How will the housework and yardwork be handled. No, it isn't very romantic but think of it as a pre-nup. It could save you alot of heartache, money and years of your life. And on the positive side, it could get you and your significant other on the same page or the wonderful feeling you will have if it comes up that you already had everything covered.

My fiance and I are going to have a queen sized bed together after we're married. Neither one of us has ever had to share a bed before.

Now, I am not talking about sex at all (so please no lewd comments)...

Are there any helpful hints about how to share a bed with someone and still get a good night's sleep... not worrying about bad breath, stretching out, changing positions, etc. I don't want want to wake up sore from being in one position all night because I was scared to move... or worse, not sleeping much at all because I'm not used to sharing a bed.

Silly as this may seem, I really would appreciate any serious answers.

The fact that it happened 5 or 6 times indicates to me that he had feelings for her. He hasn't seen or talked to her in 7 months. She e-mailed him 2 months ago and he ignored her.

He has told me everything and really feels bad and loves me.

They didn't have sex, but made out at least 5 times over the course of 5 months and flirted with each other for 6 MONTHS before anything happened so he had plenty of time to think about what he was doing.

He says that she is married too and it was only physical, because we didn't kiss like that anymore. I am just worried that he may have more than a physical desire for her because he kept doing it over and over.

What do you think?

What if she contacts him again. What will he do?

I've heard this time and time again. I've been advised to start from the very beginning, and to make ur man miss u when ur not around. what's the deal? What's the harm in having it the other way around? Sure, it's all about control, but what's wrong in an even split? Why does there have to be a power struggle? Marriage is so confusing!

...what am I supposed to do now? I know I'm going to catch hell for this but when we first met he was really thin. Then, over the course of about 2 years he gained about 50 lbs. If it were just the weight, there really wouldn't be a problem. But has gotten a promotion and he is walking around with this air of arrogance and I hate it. Like he thinks he's everyones boss (like his old co-workers) now and he really isn't. His attitude (there are other things not just the job situation) and his body has changed, and I'm not too happy....

I went for a night out with the MRS her self. The thing is my wife has let her self go, she weighs three times as she weighed when we got married but I am not complaining. I am still kept my self fit, tidy and stylish. Anyway as we were sitting enjoying our dinner, this gorgeous lady came and sat on the table next to us.

The tables were quite close & as she looked at me, I said beautiful, she smiled and I complimented her on her appearance. She probably though I was the son & my wife was the mother as I still look young. My wife raged & grabbed my ear and dragged me out. She is kind off dominant as she is heavy & I did not want to stir anything…

Now my wife has not given me a leg over since? Should I go elsewhere? I think my wife is planning on divorce, she is not willing to get counselling & is too obsessive. What should I do?
