Men plot them too you know (escapes). The good find the bad, the bad find the good........after 100 years of learning hopefully the good will find the good and walk past the bad. Then the bad will be with the bad and they'll be able to get a good look at themselves.

If we are plotting the "Great Escape" than we did something wrong. But I, being man, have also planned, but I like success and will try to find it. But the escape is planned for the last resort.

Funny thing, started to plot an escape, still am actually. But the power and peace it gave me in just planning has made me so much stronger. I am now sticking up for myself more than I ever had before, his words can't hurt me anymore, because I am leaving. But my change in attitude has caused a change in attitude in him, for the better. No he doesn't have a clue as to what I am doing. But I am no longer allowing myself to be a victim and boy does it feel good.

All I say is be careful. While planning to leave my controlling, manipulative husband...I had asked him to leave on and off for several months and decided to just get my ducks in a row for my kids and myself. He couldn't stand my becoming independent and it ended up I had to call 911 and getting a TPO because he became violent and made serious threats, even in front of the kids. Now it's all "my fault" that things ended up the way they are. Hell, all he had to do was leave when I asked him nicely.

I have escaped, im in my chosen exile. Blue skies Palm trees and mountains, the ocean and a big fat house stuck on the side of a mountain like a monastry.
Cheers everyone!

I "love" the women that escape! They are much more appriciative of a good man, and they usually have a warm heart that enjoys a new life. Don't be jaded...just be happy and time "will" heal all wounds. Good Luck and "go for it!"

yup, sure am. wow, i am amazed to see how many people actually do this. i would have thought most people just leave or throw the other out! i'm job hunting, rearranging money, and debt, figuring out how to deal with worst case scenarios, etc. i wish you luck and all the others. glad i aint the only who feels the need to plot...lol

Ok..why plot it...Just say its over..A man or a lady appreciates the other more..By not hideing how they really feel..It is gonna hurt him anyways..So just be honest..There is no need to plot anything..Leave him, with haveing respect for u, instead of him looking at you as a user..God Bless..

Escape? Is there physical abuse? If so, don't plot - get gone. If not - why plotting? Without knowing your situation, all I can say is that life's too short to give up chunks of it being miserable if you don't have to.
