Marriage & Divorce - 19 July 2007

I am nine weeks pregnant and my husband is moving three hours away from me. He will not be here during my entire pregnancy and I feel he is abandoning me and our unborn child. What kind of legal issues will I have once my child is born if we do not divorce. I have heard that you can not get a divorce while you are pregnant, is that true?

so why should i stay in the relationship? i love her she loves me but we argue and for that reason she said no. but she doesn't want to break up. now i want to break up because she said no. i'm going to take my time to think about it but that will just colm me down and i will get over it. i shouldn't get over it. i need to move on. what did you do and are you happy with your the chose you made?

Just curious when you take a dump and I know we all do, how many times on average do you wipe and flush? Me myself wipe about 6 times and flush about 4 times. And do you ever need to use a plunger after you take or leave your dump....Girls need to answer also, don’t be shy!!!!

In a new hampshire divorce if adultery is commited are assets still divided 50-50?


I am in the process of getting ready to file for divorce. My wife has been cheating on me for 10 months and has now been living with her boy friend for 3 months. My wife (soon to be ex) does not work and hasnt in 15 years. Her boyfriend makes enough to support her and i do not feel it should be my responsibility to support her anymore. What does the legal system say about this?

My husband likes to go on my website called myspace. He lies to my face that he has been on it?! Then he ask questions like why am I talking to people I don't know and why am I talking to guys and telling them we are having problems and we are trying to work them out. Every time I hear the phrase "estranged husband" in the news, it's always in a story about how the estranged husband in question either killed or attemped to kill his wife. Why is this the case? I'm always asking myself this question whenever I come across it on the news, most recently when I heard about a woman that was shot and killed while singing on stage and her estranged husband was the one responsible, and I can't seem to find any answers.

My wife was a sorority girl and used to be able to drink a lot. When we dated she used to drink when we would go to a club, but I've only seen her drunk twice since I've known her. After we got engaged she all of a sudden stopped drinking around me... I'd buy her a glass of wine at a resturaunt or a margarita while we are out and about but she would barely drink them. She would tell me she is a light weight now and it doesn't take much to get her buzzing. When she goes out with her girl friends however she takes shots, drinks 2-3 glasses of wine, etc. She can't even finish a glass of her favorite wine around me... I don't get it.... Ladies do you know why she is like this? Do you think she is embarressed to be drunk around me?

I’m a 29 yr old mom of 2 boys a 12yr old and a 4yr old w/autism. I have a good job and I own my home. I have been with my boyfriend now for 3 years (he lives with me) over the 3 years he has proven to be very laid back/not responsible, he also lets his exwife and kids step all over him and disrespect me, he has a bunch of debt/legal drama (I bailed him out once) he has no ambition/he isn’t a go-getter, he does help me financially but what I love about him is that he has a big heart and loves my kids as if they were his own. The problem is that my exhusband/father of my boys wants to get back with me he has been wanting to since we split, he has a good job, responsible/hard working/go-getter but after he cheated on me(which he so regrets) I don’t love him the same I care for him and I forgive him. I would love to have our family back together like before both our families get along great and they want us back together. Im not sure what to do.

I have 4 stepkids, ages 11, 15, 17, and 20. ALL they do EVERY day is play videogames. They basically only get up to go to the bathroom, eat, or walk to another room to play another game system. I have only been living here since October and have always let dad make the rules. They don't have any chores to do other than put their clothes away. They don't do dishes, they don't help clean up the table after any meal, they don't help with laundry. I had a basketball hoop put in hoping they would play, they don't. We have a beach a few blocks up the road that they won't go to, even if I offer to drive them. I ask if they want to go on a walk with our dog we just got last fall, they don't. You get the picture. They still get $5/week for doing almost nothing. All they do is beg to rent or buy more videogames. I told my fiance that they are lazy and need to help out more and that they always want, want, want. He mentions to them that they need to work more, they do for a day or so

I am female, in a committed relationship with my man. I have a new female friend.
i enjoy my friends company alot. it is a real friendship, something i have lacked for sometime. i trust her completely, we have a lot in common especially a warped sense of humor. hobbies, life experiences.
my man is jealous, to the point that i have had to sneak out to see her.
there was a huge fight last week, he said she said blah blah. none of it terribly important in the scheme of things.
He has given the ultimatum that i am not to see her or our relationship is over. i know how unfair this is. and giving it time to cool down is not going to work on this one as the argument is really not the issue.
the issue is that he is jealous of her, has been from the start and has been looking for a way to put an end to it.
we are in our 40's.
i am not willing to give her up for him.
in general... he is a good man that i am happy with. we get along well and he is good to me.

My husband is going to adopt my daughter here soon. I've been talking to my ex about everything and hes ready to sign off on the papers. The problemm is now i keep dreaming about having sex with my ex. We are not even talking to each other like that just about my daughter and getting this all said and done. I dont know why i keep dreaming it and i feel extremely guilty. because in my dream i hide it from my husband. Even when my husband comes to hug or kiss on me i feel guilty like im hiding my dreams from him..ugh i dont know!! Should i be concerned about dreaming these dreams??? I have been seeing my girlfriend for since last year. She is originally from outside the United States on a student visa. I was planning on asking her to marry me this fall.We are soulmates. Unfortunately her visa is expiring and it is not going to be renewed. We met with 3 attorneys and they all recommended we get a marriage license. We are both family oriented and always wanted a wedding in a church. Her family cannot come for another 6 months. We decided to go get a license in city hall and look at it as a way to make sure we can have the wedding of our dreams. We both feel bad about doing it this way but are excited we found each other. She is heartbroken that her parents cant be the so we agreed to have only the 2 of us and have a ceremony in a church with both our families. If my parents were there and hers weren't she said it would break her heart. My parents understood at first but now want to come. This would make her feel tremendous guilt. Should I respect the way she feels?

My husband and I are trying to win custody of my 3 step children. The two older ones (13&16) live with us while the 7 year old still lives with his mom. Without getting into all the negative points about the mother, what are some good “selling” phrases or statements my husband and I could make to win over the children’s attorney, judge, and maybe jury so all the children will be with us?

After affair. My husband would be singing along with the radio to love songs (really pitiful ones) It upset me because I didn't know if he was singing about us or them. I confronted him and asked him if he sang all songs or only ones he felt a connection to. (I only sing the ones I feel strongly about but I didn't want to assume.) He admitted he felt the way I did about music. I said I refused to listen to him sing the music. He later came clean and said I was right to be upset. Turns out he had a CD of music they had created together. He broke it and burned the playlist. (I saw him do it) But, now I wonder how many of my favorite love songs are tainted. Clearly I don't want to play music for him that "they" chose. Should I just ask him?

i had a hysterectomy earlier this year i still have one ovary but i am very emotional my husband thinks the problems that we are having have a lot to do with that. i told him i am not happy and i am sure if i want to stay in the relationship i have 4 kids two are with him, and honestly i must say i am bother by the fact that if he wanted more kids he could have them i am older than him by 9 years and i am always fearful he will leave and start a new family. he has cheated on me twice before we got married but i do not know! he is verbably abusive and sometimes physically abusive help!

My girlfriend has an identical twin and they are always wearing something similar and it bugs me to death!

I have a bad habit of grabbing my girlfriends butt...really bad and I paid the price for it last night.

Last night, I picked up my girlfriend at a family party after work. I came in through the door and gave her a BIG kiss and and a BIG hug with my hands on her butt (squeezing). When I gave her the kiss I gave a little tongue action.

Everyone looked at me (including her) like a deer caught in a headlight. Only to realize that its not her but, her sister. Everyone saw what I did including my girlfriend. It was really odd, how do I get out of this one? or at least stop feeling like an idiot!
