I don't see anything wrong with it. Why are you even asking?

When all the tree huggers move out of their houses and start living in caves I'll stop accusing them of being hypocrites.
I like clean air, water, and biodiversity in nature as much as anyone and realize that with good logging practices we can have houses and healthy forests.
It is the tree huggers who are responsible for many of the huge forest fires because they refuse to allow the thinning of forests that would keep the fuel supply for fires at a level where we could put out small fires before they get big.
What would you rather happen to an old tree about to fall? Do you want your husband to use it to make homes, or do you want it to burn and kill little animals and more trees?

Construction and conservation go hand in hand. Open your mind, babe...the Earth does not sit still, but you have an opportunity to fine tune things that change. Work WITH your husband, not against him and you will both feel a sense of accomplishment.

Since he is in construction, you can work with him to change his building to green buildings. This way there wont be as much of a conflict of interest

Clearly its a conflict. How a "tree hugging enviro babe" met and actually married a "hard hat construction dude" is amazing to me.

You are in the fairy land of "what if" and he is in the real world of work and "what is" and trying to make a living. Just go with the flow.

If you really feel that it is a conflict, dont use the money your husband makes. Then you are not a part of it.

As long as his construction company doesn't go BOOM and dwindle down to ashes afterwards, you'll be alright.
