When she was pregnant, two years ago, I cleaned the nasty thing because of diseases. They're her cats, she won't go near the box. I've tried letting it go, but it doesn't seem to bother her. Help!!!

My mom is great. She stayed home to raise my bother and me and now she watches my little girl while I'm at work/school. I've never really liked my dad. He's been physically and verbally abusive to all of us... but it's only verbally now that we're older. I know he's cheating on my mom. He lies all the time... he even went to Hawaii without her claiming that he was going with his "music buddies." It makes me sick. My poor mom feels so bad about herself and she actually believes him when he lies!!! I think she just wants it all to go away. She's been totally dependent on him since she was 16. I love my mom and I hate to see her this way. He is very controlling in every way and I sneak my mom money whenever I get paid. I even opened up a bank account with her in hopes that she would leave him. She just acts like everything is fine... when we all know that something is wrong. What can I do to help my mom?

When he is actually in a long term relationship, but does not believe in marriage (parents went thru divorce)? Also monogamous and very supportive? Is there really a difference between a marriage and a long term commited relationship?

I've known "Mike" over half my life and have always had feelings for him. When we were younger, I kinda dumped him because I was young and immature. I got married young..had kids and regretted my marriage. My marriage ended in a nasty divorce. I've seen Mike throughout the years off and on and everytime I would just be like a school girl...get all flustered and not know what to say. I feel like fate keeps bringing him into my life. I saw him 3 months ago and we talked and I casually gave him my number. Since then, we've talked almost every day and he has even talked about leaving his wife. She treats him badly & blows money like crazy. They don't have any kids but I still feel badly as if I am wrecking the marriage. The main problem is he hasn't left yet and I'm not so sure now that he is going to even though he says many times that he is. What should I do? I love him but I feel as if I'm being taken for a ride. BTW I have told him that I will NOT sleep with him until he is DIVORCED!!

My husband and I were seperated for 8 months and seriously contemplating divorce. During this time, his ex-boss and I developed an emotional connection.

One day, the ex-boss called me on the phone and told me that my husband was a liar and hypocrite and said that our marriage was a fake and that I would regret my decision to stay with him. Was he envious because of me or was he just being a jerk?

I know a guy who wants to be married at the age of 22. I am just curious to know what the average age that most men want to get married. For some reason, red flags are going up because I rarely meet men who want to be married so young. Basically at this stage of life one is still in college and just getting their career started. So, why the sudden need for commitment. Opinions please.

Friend in England is going through divorce with abusive husband but co-owns house with him. If her request for an occupation order gets denied, does she have any options for moving (ASAP) that can reasonable safeguard her credit? She can't get another mortgage until house is agreed to be sold, which her ex won't do, she could try to rent somewhere and stop paying her half of the mortgage...but then she'll lose the initial equity she put in (alone) and kill her credit rating... but if she just sues for the money, that process could take months and she just can't handle staying with her ex alone in the same house - she has a toddler as well. She's making around 30k so I doubt she'd qualify for any financial aid or subsidies or what not. Any advice greatly appreciated!

Hubby was supposed to drop off a prescription for me on the way home from work, we talked about it that morning. On the way home he noticed our neighbor's 18 year old daughter walking to work at Mcdonalds, he gave her a ride because it was hot for her to walk. And yeah you guessed it, called him on my way home and he forgot to drop off my prescription. Why is it fair that he showed concern for our neighbor walking in the heat but forgot my prescription? Men and women...would you be mad? He did go get my prescription once i reminded him. And i told him, not a good idea to offer her a ride and he responded with "You've taken her to work b 4 why can't I"?

she was very emotional throughout our whole marriage. Ups and downs, accusations of paranoid fantasies of me having an affair (i would never do that. I loved her to death), yelling, telling me she had PMDD a lot (the really severe kind of PMS), telling me i didn't love her, not trusting me. here's the thing though....I never did anything wrong it was like she was expecting it or purposely sabotaging the marriage for some reason. Her family always told me she was a little off and if she was taking her medicine. The final straw was during an argument in front of my son she accused me of abuse and went back to live with her family. Now she's got a lawyer and wants a divorce. I'm just shocked. I did love the woman to death but I'm leaving her totally alone. I haven't even heard from her in 3 months. She always told me I was the love of her life. What should I do? She's fabricated in her head that i was just awful and is telling everyone I was abusive and awful. I still love her though.

If he'd really rather go somewhere else if he could, is there a point in the relationship? Geez, why get put thru the humiation. How could anyone be proud to be with the man? Wouldn't it be less humilating if it's not his baby anyway? I mean if he's not going to be 100%.

I've been married less than a month. I know I love my husband, and until very recently, was certain he loved me too, more than anything. However, I feel he's done a 180, and he says it's my fault. While I don't feel I criticize him (I make a conscience effort not too), he feels under attack a lot of the time and is very sensitive and angry and defensive. He loses his temper almost immediately if he senses a disagreement of any kind coming on. He is less affectionate, has stopped saying he loves me unless I say it first (but when asked says how much he does love me, only it seems out of obligation), he doesn't look at me the same way, it just isn't what I thought it was going to be. HE isn't what he used to be. And in such a short time!! How does a marriage go south so fast? I cry almost daily and he never seems happy with me anymore. He's unwilling to communicate or try to fix things, but won't leave me and says he is committed. Am I expecting too much?

My future ex-wife had a DUI. She used a lawyer that her family knows. She started having relations with him. Then she left me and wants a divorce. Thats fine with me but she wants me to pay for all of it and I refused. I told her to use her f buddy lawyer that broke up our marriage. She said that doing so would be unethical . Haha that was funny to me. So I guess is there anything I can do to get her to pay for the divorce? And yes the lawyer knew we were married. He was a friend of her Dads. Hes like 30 years older.

My ex-husband wants us to get back together as a family. He spoke to me for about 1 hour the other day.

I have always hated the fact that he compared me to his sisters. He has two sisters and one is exactly the same age as me (born on the same day/ year) and the other is 4 years younger.

He was saying how the sister that is my age is so loyal to her husband and would never go against her. He says that I was not loyal to him.

It bothered me that I have made a big issue about being compared to his sisters and he still does it.

Am I giving it too much importance?

I know that he also has his own issues with me. I sometimes hang up quickly without really closing the conversation and saying Goodbye.

My boyfriend is great. Sweet, cute and funny!!! But I told myself long ago that I would never marry a man that was small below the waist, but I'm afraid I'm in love with him, and he wants to marry me.

How can I break this to him in a delicate way? Should I lie or tell the truth about why I'm ending the relationship?

Forget housework, i would like to know why men are so irresponsible with money, bills, business, security. My idiot fiance constantly overdraws his account. he is 35 years old and He never remembers to lock the doors to our house and has on several occasions left the door open while me and/or his daughter are asleep upstairs. He wastes big amounts of money on stupid stuff that he could easily get cheaper and he never pays the bills on time, even when i have written out step by step what to pay, how much to pay and when to pay it. I have to do all the "man" stuff and all my "woman" stuff too. He is late to every single place he goes. FURTHER, and the most irritating part, is that he wont admit any of this. he constantly tries to "explain" why the account is overdrawn again or why he forgot to lock the doors or how he's late to work or class, AGAIN, bcuz of traffic. and worst! i keep hearing tons of women say the same thing about their men so i cant even trade him in! arggggg!!

scriptures as, I guess, his reason for thinking this. What do you think? What do you think of him believing this?

Ephesians 5:24
Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.

James 4:7
Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Ephesians 5:33
However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.

Ephesians 5:22
Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord.

Job 22:21
"Submit to God and be at peace with him; in this way prosperity will come to you"
