So here is my dilemna-
My husband and I met when my daughter was 2, married when she was 3.
I had her ears pierced when she was 3 months old and always wore them until she was about 4. At that time one got stuck and we couldn't get the back off. We had to use plyers. So my husband said no more earrings until she is old enough to put them on herself.
I agreed to wait until she was old enough. At about 8 she wanted to start wearring them again. He said she can't wear them full time until she is at least 13.
In 3rd grade (age 9) I bargained with him for wed/sunday. He said fine as long as we don't discuss it again until she is 12.
Well, today is wednesday and she had them on. He totally freaked out and said he meant only during the school year.
It is summer she is not even around anyone. I am her mother and I want some sort of say in this. Am I wrong. Shouldn't I have some sort of decision make power here? Why does this marriage have to bea dictatorship?

My husband plays video games constantly. He doesn't help with the house work or children. I'm begnning to think he has lost interst in me. How do I approach him about my feelings and concerns. Should I just take what he is not saying, to mean he is ready to move on and his video games is an escape. And I should eventually read between the lines.

Im more comfortable with it since it saves a lot of stress as going through the process of changing it is too much trouble for me. But my husband seems to have a problem with it and this is causing a lot of quarells.
Am I wrong to keep my maiden name?

My ex wife moved in with a man 4 days after our separation. Two years later I'm single, by choice, and she is in that very shaky relationship. She and I still talk and get alone well enough. While married she had to have a hysterectomy. At the time I accepted that I'd not have more kids. About 6 months ago I was kicking around the idea of a vasectomy. At the time I wasn't sure I'd have a ride home after the procedure so I asked if she'd be able to help me with that. She agreed. A month or so back she asked me about it and I told her I had decided not to get it. She freaked out. She went on and on about how I took her son from her and she can't have kids but I can. I do have custody of our son. We have a set visitation schedule but the reality is she sees him pretty much whenever she wants, excluding when she and the b/f are fighting and she calls to say she doesn’t want him there that day. Why is she upset that I can still have children if I choose to?

I have seen several questions on here from married women wanting their husbands to iniate sex more often. So my question is how do you like to be aproached for sex. And I know that everyone is different so I am not asking how I should approach my wife I want to know what you like.

My friend filed divorce over a year ago and moved. Since then her husband has been driving their business into the ground, not paying mortgages, going on many vacations and is apparently intent on loosing everything they had together. His lawyer just fired him for non- payment so now she is being told that nothing can be done till he gets another lawyer and they start all over again. Isn't there a motion that can be filed to inform the judge that her husband is intentionally recklessly squandering all their marital assets and dragging the case out??? If she has to wait for him to get another lawyer he will drag it out again until nothing is left to divide!!!

I have been married for almost 5 years now in my second marriage. A lot of things have happened and I find myself unhappy in this. I truly do not feel the love any more. But my husband is a good person and we've had a child together. But is it fair to him or me to stay in a relationship where I feel unhappy and want to move out of it? What are your thoughts?

What is the deal with men and porn? I mean I can understand a teenager or a single man but a married man with as much sex as he could ever want? Why? I just want to understand... :) I dont think its cheating but Ido find it disrespectful...but if I could understand better maybe I would get over the bad feelings about it. Any takers?

will she just pray that Harold, her pet beaver will bite my finger off. I've always hated that damn thing, and he's never liked me, but if I'm nice to it, maybe I'll get lucky more often.

I have been divorced for almost 4 months now and and it was my decision and definitely the right thing to do, but I just can't seem to stop thinking about and missing my ex. I have started seeing someone else whom I care for a great deal and we are moving along slowly and I am very happy but I just can't seem to get thoughts of my ex out of my mind or heart and I am tired of feeling this pain and want to move on. Does anyone have any helpful ideas for my situation?

I'm Catholic and my boyfriend is Christian. Lately we have been talking about getting married, I love him and I would love to be his wife. I would also like to get married in a Catholic Church, but as long as we get married it doesn't matter. He knows that I would like to get married in my Church and I would never push him to become Catholic. He has talked about coming to my Church to see what it's like but like I said, if he wants to stay in his religion I'm okay with that. Is it possible that we can still get married in a Catholic Church though?

My husband and I have been together 8 years. He is a wonderful person and I love him very much- but I'm no longer IN love with him. We no longer have the same goals and want different things from life. I have been denying the truth for a long time, trying to convince myself that I'm happy, but I feel like if I continue to stay with him I will be lying to myself. It's also not fair to him as we're both still young and he could find someone who wants what he wants. I don't know how to break the news- this will come as a real surprise because we don't fight or anything and have always appeared to be the perfect couple. I don't want to hurt him, he's been nothing but kind and loving to me, but if I continue to live this lie I just know I will start to hate him and I don't want that. I'm also afraid that if I do approach him he'll just dismiss the problem and try to convince me we can work it out, which I know is impossible. There is no one else involved and we have no children.

Mu husband is going away for two weeks. I was thinking of planning a weekend getaway with my girl friends (some single, some married). Should this be acceptable or does my husband have a right to not want me to go? He is going to visit family and friends and i am planning to go relax and have fun with the girls. What are some opinions on this.

Me and my husband have been married for 3 years I love him but I'm not in love with him and I have to force myself to have sex with him. We have been having problems for about 3 months now...he works 8a-8p mon-sat so he is never home, he is always cranky, he is always asking me if i'm cheating on him, he accuses me of everything...he insist that I be a stay at home mom but then sarcastically tells me how "hard" my job is and why I shouldn't be tired...he wakes me up in the middle of the night asking me questions...we have been to marriage counseling and it gets better for a month or so and then right back to the same stuff in last marriage I was beaten BADLY and he always says stuff like "i know why he beat your a**, or if he see's someone on tv that has been beaten up he'll ask me "did you ever look like that" e calls me 20x's a day to see where i am e doesn't like any of my friends and if i go there he gets mad he gets mad b/c i don't drink with him but i don't really drink.

This question can be for both men and women. However, it seems that I often hear more tales of women doing revenge cheating than men do.

FYI, If I had a girlfriend or wife cheated who on me, that would be the end of it for me, period, and I would not play into such a ridiculous game.

I am married with three children and have been having serious problems with my marriage. I guess it really started two years ago where my husband left me and my children so he could figure things out; he refused to tell me where he was, openened a PO box, and started to move his paycheck to another account. This situation would have left me high and dry as I was a housewife at the time and would have no way to support our family. So I stayed by my phone any waited for his calls so I could beg him to come home. A week later he came home and I found out that he was receiving letters from a girl he met while on duty. These letters talked about him visiting her and how much she loved him. Never really seeing what he had done was wrong, I eventually forgave him. Little did I know, last month (the day before mother's day), I relived the same thing all over again; my daughter told me that while I was at school, he was looking at women on sites such as match.com.
