When wife works full time, how does she get husband to share in responsibilities and eliminate stress when asking does not work?

Are long-term affairs more meaningful? Why not leave your wife if you're willing to risk ending your marriage by having the affair in the first place!

the last 10 or twelve years has been anything but fulfilling. We seem to no longer have anything in common. We are very well off financially, but we never do anything together. All we do is stay home and do our own different thing. I'm game to to travel or go out, but all she wants to do is stay home and watch TV.

In over a year I haven't even been able to get her out to buy new furniture for our new home. The only thing she's interested in is buying clothes for herself and knick-knacks for the house.

She has fibromyalgia and uses it as an excuse for not being able to do anything. She hasn't cooked a meal for me in ten years but she always says she loves me and couldn't do without me.

About three months ago, I met another woman online, and we have been answering each others questions and exchanging memories and such here on Y!A. Recently though we started exchanging emails, and while neither of us have mentioned it, I think we're starting to like each other too much.

I am going to level with my YA friends...
I am a scorpio woman who is very independant, i just had my first baby, and i am currently getting a divorce from a scorpio man who is cuntroling , mentally abusive, manipulative, has OCD and has lied and cheated on me.
so my question to you is why am i hanging or, or am possibly still in love with a man like this. what is wrong with me? I am strong in every other aspect of my life and i had a great childhood with both parents.

He is out for a meal and drink with some visiting people from work.
If I wait up he might be late and I won't be able to get up for work.
If I go to bed I will sleep then he will crash around,paw at me and once I am awake he will go to sleep and snore and stink of curry!

I just got married 2.5 months but was unaware i was pregnant at the time.Before the wedding took place we took a 3.5 month break because he was not sure if he was ready for marriage.During the break i had a fling with an ex.bf who had been my first everything and we had flings before so i felt comfortable.Then my bf and i got back together month later we got married.I just found out i am almost 4 months pregnant and it cant be my husbands.Is it possible my husband wont do the math?

I walked in, saw them, and saw red. A man's trailer should be his castle.

Anyway, I ran to my 1973 Chevy 4x4 to grab my shotgun. Before I knew it they were both out the door, onto Chin's moped, and away they went.

My wife called me today from the 7-11 payphone and told me that I owed Chin $150 to repair his moped, because with her weight (450lbs.) it caused the muffler to drag and done got tore off.

Betsy said that they's gonna sue me.

Do I owe them any money?

My boyfriend of three years dropped a bomb on me. he told me had met another girl at school and had been cheating on me these past few months. anyway, i found her on myspace, I want to talk to her and find out what the hell was actually going on. i think it's actually been going on for a long time, and I already know he's a liar. i also want to know if she knew about me and i want to want some closure. should i do it?

my ex husband goes on and on about wanting a friendship with me. He says he cares so much about me and our child. and that it's so important since we have shared and been threw so much together. we have 2month old together.
when it comes down to though his actions show that he doesn't care and that he would rather give up family time ( and his family in my opinion) to be with his 17 yr old girlfriend that he left us for.
why does he bother?

Is it considered physical abuse when a man grabs a woman by her throat and pushes her to the wall --- if it's only "to get her attention"? Is it physical abuse if he throws her on the bed and sits on top of her to make her talk to him? Is tapping the phone "because we should have no secrets" a form of mental abuse? I think all of the above is true but he doesn't!!!! Please help settle this argument!

This sounds silly, but bear with me. I was having problems with one of our 3 wk old kittens. something was seriously wrong with it, and I wanted to take it to the vet. Instead of calling my husband and asking his opinion, I took it apon myself to take the kitten in anyways. Mainly because of the fact that if I were to have asked his opinion, he would have told me no. He hates spending money, and really doesn't have sympathy for animals very much. So I took it in, it cost us, $53 , which wasn't too bad because we are doing very good on money right now. I was glad we had the resourses to get it done, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to. Turns out, the kitten was severely dehydrated and had an eye infection. Well, of course I told him, and now I'm in trouble. When he asked why I didn't ask him beforehand, I was honest and said that it was because he would have said no. He said of course he would have, because the kitten is probably going to die anyways. But it is already improving.

My ex and i were together for 6 years,we have a 4 year old son so wont be totally out of each others lives to some extent i suppose.He left us for the 2nd time just after new year and although i was expecting it i was still heartbroken as he was my first love,he was with someone else who i hate and as far as i know still is.

He came nad took most of his clothes one night but didn`t take his cd`s and stuff,most of it i threw out and told him i`d also binned his cd`s which i haven`t,they`re packed away in the attic.I do think i`m over him now but can`t bring myself to give him these back as i can`t bear the thought of them both listening to them,i know that`s pathetic but i don`t know if i`m maybe clinging onto the past in some strange way,i will always love him but accept he doesn`t feel the same,what do you think,am i being strange in keeping them or is this relatively normal?

any advice one my situation: Im getting out in 5 months, Im married and living with the wife and I have no kids with her. Weve been married 3 years and she has just became a terrible person, plain and simple. I want to divorce and become a civilian again, those are my major goals. hey guys

Strange question, please try and be civil one and all. I was just wondering when or even if its' ok to date a person's partner while they're still seeing someone else? Most people call it stealing them, and there is a huge stigma about it all.

Reason being I was chatting to my fiancee about this one, and we went through the same situation where she and I fell in love with each other while she was engaged to someone she didn't care for. I am now engaged to her and very happy, but I've been branded with this "label" for being a "b*****d" and a "thief", which I find hurtful as most people don't understand it. Even my family for a few months after criticised me for "stealing" someone's fiancee, even though I feel for once I was justified on that one (much longer story but not enough room). Fact was that her ex fiancee ended up raping her, so was I really so bad for taking her to be with me?

Anyways, can anyone think of any other examples where it might be ok?

My husband and I have been married for 4 months, He has brought up divorce over 10 times in the months we've been married. He says things like, "this is never going to work" even on our honeymoon. I just beg him to stay, tell him how much I love him and ask him to reconsider, a half hour later he'll be fine again.
I work full time, go to school (night classes), clean the house after a 14 hour day, make his lunch for him everynight, I cook him big dinners when I have time. I just try to make him happy. I bring him home gifts and treats that I think he'll appreciate. I feel like everything I do is wrong. The way I blow my nose makes him mad. He gets mad if I ask him not leave his dirty socks on our kitchen table and calls me a control freak. It seems like he dislikes everything I do.
Is this something that we can overcome? He always compares everything to when we were first together but relationships change. I love him and want to make it work. But everytime he says this it hurts
