my ex husband goes on and on about wanting a friendship with me. He says he cares so much about me and our child. and that it's so important since we have shared and been threw so much together. we have 2month old together.
when it comes down to though his actions show that he doesn't care and that he would rather give up family time ( and his family in my opinion) to be with his 17 yr old girlfriend that he left us for.
why does he bother?

Sounds like he doesn't want to burn any bridges. He may not really want to be around that much. But he doesn't want to give up his child just yet either. He probably does care about you and your child, but essentially he's selfish and will look out for himself first.

Given that you guys have a 2 month old child together, I'd reccommend trying to peacefully co-exist together, for the child's sake. You don't have to like each other, just be polite and friendly. Maybe that's what he's talking about.

Maybe he realised what he had missed. Maybe his gf was too immature and kicked him around, treating him like sh!t. Or maybe he doesn't want you to be bitter with him for what he has done, for the sake of the kid. Guilt can be a factor.

No i don't think of so. facebook is a great way of staring in any respect your buddies and what they are doing and photographs etc., yet why after 10 years of divorce and no touch would you desire to be his pal, exceedingly in case you're nevertheless hurting over your previous. merely forget approximately his request and then he will see which you do not choose him as a pal and you will circulate on on your stunning new life.

well think of like this he is messed up he has two personalities one that cares so ******* much about you and the baby. but his dic.k takes over when he is away or talks to her or something and his dic.k takes over more and goes with her over his own family. im sorry but he really does care its just his dic.k has more of a handel on him then his heart obvesly...
