i was supposed to be getting married about 3 months ago and we cancelled and now everytime i try to talk about it and he blows me off and tells me hes not in the mood to talk. we have been together for a while and i want to start everything but for some reason i cannot seem to get him to want to do it. im tired of waiting i want to start my life with him what do i need to do i need help!

Dump him and move on. Sounds like that's what he has planned anyhow. he is holding you back. And he isn't man enough to face you and talk to you about it. You can do better.

The best way to get him to talk about it, is to force his hand. The bad thing is that you may not get the answer you want. Tell him that you are breaking things off. He will want to know why and what is wrong. Just tell him that you are ready for more in your life and since he is not interested in marriage and a family (or whatever you are looking for) then you think that you have different ideas of where the two of you want to be in the future. He will either at that point talk with you about it, or tell you that is probably what you should do. Just do not force him to agree to talk about marriage or pressure him to get married, that will almost backfire every time. Just tell him you need to move on with your life. Good luck...

This depends on your age. I don't think it is a good idea to marry at a young age. I think you should be at least 25 before you consider marriage. So if you are younger than that then I would wait until I was old enough to make a good smart descion for a life partner. If you are older than 25 then I wouldn't wait around. Good luck.

He may be unable or unwilling to exit your relationship. He may be looking for your replacement before he will exit. Not once did you write the word "love" as being part of your reason to marry. Take a step back and see where this relationship goes...keep your options open.

Find a hobby and get on with your life. If he blows you off....it's because he's avoiding telling you that it's over-over.

he maybe trying to tell you that he doesn't want to start a life with you. you can't force him. let it go & let him bring it up, or move on.

It doesn't sound like he is interested in marriage. Maybe you should ask him why that is.
