what do counselers do? how does it help you? Are they Expensive to see? Does it really help people?

I am with a guy who seems to make his friends and family hate me. Ruins my reputation, and when we are home... he is all in love and happy. He laughs at me when I'm confronting him. Even BEGS me not to leave. He is making me feel more like a screw buddy than a fiancee!!!

Lately he does things just to pick an arguement. It is driving me crazy... lol... I love a mature respectful guy. Someone who treats me well. I do things most men BEG for; still he is being silly like this. He also chooses to not say what is on his mind. I love it when a guy says what he thinks or what he needs to say.

Not sure how to take his actions. He seems sorry at times; then gets mad over stupid things. Like if I do something my own way. Yet he can do whatever he wants even while getting mad at me for the same thing! Just wanting to understand his side and not jump to conclusions. MEN... INPUT please. He is great other times.shouldn't it be always at least for the majority of the time. Especially engadged

now i was was not knowng her untill i met her , she is not related to me , yet everyone is sayng it will be like brother sister marriage! also people talk about genetic problems due to blood relation . we dont dnt know in which generation we were related ! so how can we be relatives? please help me out

ok, heres the deal my boyfriend and i were fixing to get married but he had a addiction to pain pills, so we talked with our pastor and got him into counseling and we set the date for our wedding, well his counsler[ whom is married] started calling at all hours of the day and nite, i told him that she should not be calling him that i didn,t think that was right, he said oh, her husband is abusive to her and she needs someone to talk to,well then she leaves on the answering machine that she wants him to eat her, well i confronted her and she threatened to kill me, then i found out they were meeting at the holiday inn, we go shopping for rings then he spends the nite with her at the motel, when i discovered the affair i reported her, then alot of other patients came forth that she was sleeping with them as well, how can someone remain netural as a counsler when they are sleeping with their patients, and the state of ga. done absoluteley nothing !

Ok, so my 26 year old husband of 4 years is wayyyyyy too obsessed w/having sex with me. I am so not in the mood it's not even funny. I love him, he is still sexy to me, but I have 2 kids and a totally dimished sex drive. What should I do? I dont wanna hear vulgar responses or why you think I have this problem. She had been a stay at home for the past 7 years but since her education and experience are in the same field she might have an easier time finding a job that makes what we need, but she is totally freaked out about returning to a career. My degree is in another field than my experience which is manufacturing and that industry is dead in Michigan. I am really searching out of state but no real solid leads. My unemployment runs out in two months also.

My friend has had some cool girlfriends that were fun to hang out with. He has also had some bad ones. But this one..jesus. She weighs at least 200lbs. She doesn't seem to want to socialize with other people and I want to explain to him that women shouldn't get fat until they are married and have an excuse like a kid. He is already at least 50-60lbs in the negative and they are just dating. Is this just a phase?

My wife is depressed. she's turning 30 and has gained some weight and has a stressful job right now. she wants to be left alone but then she doesn't and yells at me when I think she needs space instead of me being there. Then when I come in to be there she acts uninterested and I stop giving her affection. Then she says well you came in and now your not giving me any. It's driving me nuts. How can I cope with this? I'm patient but she's driving me nuts. It's like everything she does she projects onto me the I actually become that person

I recently got married and my husband wants to adopt my daughter. The birth father is real shady and I never know what to expect from him. He tried signing his rights over but every lawyer I spoke to says he cant do that. that the only way for me to have full custody of her is if my husband adopts her. Anyway the adoption papers are done all we need to do is have the birth father sign them and mail them back. then we have to go in front of a judge. any way my question is can i really not have full custody of my daughter on my own and does my husband have to adopt her to get her away from her birth father.

I don't understand men....Why do ya'll hurt the ones who love you the most and say I never meant to hurt you in the same breath?????? Then expect to be forgiven and given second chances? I just found out my husband been cheating on me for 9 months...I'm trying to understand his reasoning for cheating....The mistress says she's in love with him but he said he told her what she wanted to hear so he can get what he wanted....I don't see it that way...I believe he has feelings for this women even thought he told me it was just sex for him. My brother got a big promotion and a good benefit package. Also he got a 2million dollar life insurance policy. His boss told him not to tell his wife about the million dollar policy. He was surprised and I was surprized to hear that from the boss ! What you think ?

I would have been ok not going to his reunion but I'm concerned now because it seems like he was trying to keep it a secret. I received an invitation in the mail addressed to "my fiance and guest" to attend his 10 year high school reunion in another state. When I asked him about it he told me he already booked his flight to go away for the weekend and didn't even consider asking me to go with him. I'm confused to why he wouldn't want to share that part of his life with me - at least meet a few friends he grew up with - as he's met my childhood friends. I'm hurt. For him to make this plan without mentioning it to me doesn't feel right.

In an argument with my husband, i was so enraged and heated up that i slapped his face hard. I apologised immediately cos i know it was wrong for me to do that. Although he forgive me, he said he can never forget it and his love towards me has subsides. What should i do to get his love back? Okay, as most of you can tell I have had some marriage probs. However, today I have gotten our cable bill with some added x movies on them. He knows that I cannot stand them and said he did it to get back at me. Looking at the dates, I had worked those days and I usually don't get home till 11 pm and just crash. How can he justify 'getting even' when I didn't even do anything? The main question I am asking is should I stick to my grounds and original plan that we both aggreed upon which is if he did it again I will divorce his selfish *** and take the kids. Why do you people have to one up each other?
