Encourage him to go out and get a life of his own. As long as he has only you to focus his attention he will become very jealous and possessive and that will make you begin to feel suffocated like you haven't figured this out already.
Let's face it, he may have a self image problem. There are a lot of men that don't think they can keep there wife and this fear becomes a self fulfilling prophecy. Act now before you become a statistic.
Just sit and communicate your position and make suggestions about what can be done about the situation. It will become to hard to solve this issue if the love is already lost. If this is the case then you have already lost the marriage.

No marriage will work if you are focused on yourself and what you want. Occupy yourself with being the best wife you can be. That is a start to working out your marriage. You've discovered issues in your marriage. All marriages have them. It is unkind to abandon a spouse and start looking for another just because you've discovered issues. It is also shallow. Ask God to keep love in your heart for this person and to have the ability to not make it all about you. Your life will not usually be bettered, but only cheapened, if you don't embrace your commitment to your husband. It can be done with God's help, and you will be glad you did years from now. Generally, nothing worth while is quick and easy.

Tell him that you love him but he is being too clingy. You want to interact with your friends. He should also get his own friends.
Lots of people get married and seem to think their friendships (and those of their spouses) should stop. Nothing is further from the truth. Sure, priorities change, but one should not have to give up friends just because of marriage.

Leave him in the dust and live your own life. Stay young on the inside and you'll feel better about yourself. If he doesn't want to keep up then he will grow old....

Help him develop his social skills. Share your activities with him as well your interests. Or find something new that both of you will enjoy.
