Wow I am truly impressed you are doing well with this!
WTG Girl!

Other than being very direct and telling her to GO AWAY!
I would simply ignore her, she will lose interest eventually and go away.

I have been stalked a few times and it may take a while, but she will eventually go away.
Plan on her doing some weird stuff before she decides to let go, depending on how "physco" she is.

Make sure your husband is very clear to her also, then simply ignore her.

Good luck & stay strong. : )

Additional info:
I had a friend that messed around, and made it better, people can and do change, it happens.
One of the stalkers I had, stalked me for 1-1/2 YEARS, AFTER I made it VERY clear I wasn't interested, so she may stalk you guys even if he is doing nothing with her.

My husband also had an affair for a year with his good friends wife and she was also my friend. I wonder if yours really ended it with your friend. To be honest he is the one that has to tell her to leave him alone. He started it and he really has to finish it! IF he really hasn't then she will not stop. If he truly loves you then he should take care of the terrible pain he has put you through and tell her. If he has already done this and she just does not believe him then she has an emotional problem over it. This would be much harder to get her to stop. Time is the only thing that will make her realize he does not want her any more. But some women have a problem with being shunned after they have given theirself to another. They cannot and will not believe it is over. He has to wake her up to the truth and he is the only one that can do it besides a doctor.

Wow, what betrayal! If you have made the choice to stay married to him, I hope you are in counseling to get through this. This isn't something that can just easily be forgotten, and it's not like it was a one night stand. AND it involved the two people you depended on most. If she is harassing you and/or your husband, the only logical thing is to go file for a restraining order. I hope your husband has enough balls to do THIS, like he did, to do the other. It's going to have to be a united effort.

Sorry but your husband is a loser in the first place, to be screwing around on you why did he bother marrying you if he was just going to go out and be a pig, and first of all maybe the woman isnt leaving you alone, because maybe your husband is still cheating with her, or leading her on. life to short to live in misery, please leave his stupid *** ,we needed stronger woman out there, since you took him back now he knows, if he does it again, you wont leave him so in his eyes why not cheat, poor weak girl get some self esteem you deserve better. take care.

If you and your husband are really interested in saving your marriage and he doesn't want to know anything about her anymore you and your family can leave the place where you're leaving and find a new horizon to start everything fresh.

I personally would have to reconsider my relationship with my husband after something like that. A year and a half is just too darn long.

He has to change his number. If he won't do it, then you probably should. I would not confront her at all if I were you.

First of all, why would you keep him around? Secondly, he can't be trusted to talk to her about anything. Third I suggest a restraining order. She is basically a threat to you and the child in the picture, and your safety could be at risk. The police or sheriff's dept. have to act when a child is involved.

Well, for starters I would have left him a long time ago and that friend would be gone to.He cheated on you with your BEST friend someone who loves you doesn't do that. If I were you i would leave him and the friend alone.

what a lousy friend. She probably won't give up until your husband steps up and tells her to leave you guys alone. And preferably with you there to witness it.

Move out of the state. Get an unlisted number. Call the police and get a restraining order. yuck!
