Ive been with my fiancee for two years. Recently during an argument he said things weren't working and he wasn't happy. Ive been giving him some space as he asked but i think iv'e discovered there may be somebody else. He says he still loves me he just doesn't know if he's in love with me. He still wants to live with me but what if there is somebody else?

If he said it was not working and you think there is someone else then I think you know the answer. If he does not know if he is in love with you ...maybe you should give him his freedom. Sorry but that may be the only answer. Also maybe by doing so and by going on with your life he will finally realize that he is in love with you afterall and maybe he won't. Never know..but why should you sit and wait?

Okay, been there, done that. It sux, totally and God, does it hurt. But in my experience, holding on did not help. If he has told you that he cares about you but isn't in love with you in essence, what he is saying is something like " Hey, I don't want you to die or fall off a roof or anything, but I don't want to spend my life with you either". I wasted 8...yes, 8 years waiting for my ex to "come around". Want to know what it got me? 2 little boys with no dad around. Scream, cry, eat a gallon of ice cream, call all of your friends but move on...Asap. Life is too short to wait. Oh, and that "live with You" thing, means he's too broke to get his own place.

So you got the "I love you but I'm not 'in love' with you" line huh? Get out now. Better yet, kick him out. Why would he want to live with you if he doesn't know if he wants to be with you anymore?? It sounds to me like he wants the domestic advantage of being with you, without actually having to be. If you two are engaged, there should be no question in his mind about whether or not he wants to be with you. It's better you find out now and get out before you have to pay for a divorce

this is what they always say when they have found someone new. if he isn't in love with u, and seeing someone new, it will be just a matter of time before he leaves u for her, why not end it now, before u get hurt any worse. he is using u right now, and wants to stay put, until he knows this new relationship is going to work out. u need to distance yourself from him, since he says he isn't in love with u anymore, keep your dignity and self worth, and let him go be with the other woman.

If he doesn't know if love you then ask him to move on until he knows. Stop this living together thing until you both know exactly what you are to each other.
Things tend to get really real when one of the parties start taking appropriate actions toward finalizing the relationship.

Love.....in love??? Your fiancee is twisting on a fine point. And you've got a --- 2 years --- significant time invested in him. And you're living with him.... It's time to bail out and see if he jumps after you.... or someone else.

He's told you he's not happy and he's given you the "I love you but I don't know if I'm in love with you line"...it's time to end the relationship. Sometimes, that line that he gave you is said to let the other person down easy. And trust your instinct about there being someone else.
