We been together for 16yrs and seperated for a year. My ex sometimes makes me feel guilty about our problems and tells me that i need to get help. She is the one living with a loser ex boyfriend that has a part time job and can't pay there bills. She was even jealous of my girlfriend and told me what am i'm doing you have 2 daughters (they live with me). So I broke it off with her because I thought she wanted to work things out but now it seems that my ex only comes around when she needs money or something. I can't understand why she would choose to still be so shelfish and stubborn and not try to work thing out. So how can I show her you need to make up your mind because I need closure and to move on. I don't want to be the bad guy and my kids are hurting for her. I feel bad because i'm the one that kick her out. I got tired of the bs and cheating. I still love her and want her back. I look into my daughters eyes and all I see is my ex. I know my ex is hurting also what do I do.

before we got married we used to have sex all the time but since we got married he always finds an excuse not to do it. he's always out and comes home late at night. i suspect he does this to avoid having sex. whenever i would try to initiate sex he would always have some excuse. but he would always talk about how he wants to have sex with me, for example when i'm at work he would say that he'd like to do it tonight, how he'll do it, etc, etc. but when it's the time to do it he would have an excuse. it's really confusing me, i would like to think that i'm not unattractive. i believe that he loves me and i know for sure that he's not cheating on me. maybe you guys can help me shed some light on this.

I have been with my boyfriend for almost 8 months now and everything is almost perfect. I really think he is the one I want to spend the rest of my life with but, I am really insecure and jealous of his ex, they were together for 2 years and broke up a few months before he and I got together. He says he doesn't talk to her anymore or have any feelings for her but he still stays in contact with her family which I can understand because of how long they were together for. Also, once when we were messing around he accidentlly said I love you (his ex's name) he appolligized and felt terrible for it and has never said it again but it still bothers me a lot. I dont know what to do and I dont want to lose him please help!

I've always been a romantic at heart and have believed in the concept of true romantic love. The older I get the more cynical I become. Most of the guys I work with would cheat on their wives if they thought they could get away with it. I've heard more than one of them say "If I won the Lottery I'd leave my wife") I sure would like to hear from anyone out there who has been (or is) in a happy monogamous relationship. Just starting to wonder if it's just something that exists in movies and books...

You cannot do something without the conscious choice to do it. Is it that they are cowards who like to release themselves from guilt?

meeting someone NEW to date after your seperated?
Is it really refreshing right back into the dating scene or is it scary?
Is it exciting and fun?
and how many people have you dated if you got seperated or divorced?
Do you feel relieved, or do you still miss your spouse/ex spouse?

my mother in law really pissed me off by giving me the silent treatment after my wife told her about one of our fights. after that i told her i'm not going to the beach with her whole family this summer and staying with her parents because she disrespected me in front of my wife and my wife didn't do crap. she doesn't care. it's like her parents are more important. i feel not married and i told her i'm done with her parents until she respects me and that means not going to the beach with her and her parents. am i being too much of a egomaniac? it will harm my marriage but i think she'll respect me more if i stand my ground. what do you think ladies? she won't talk to her mom which concerns me. it's like well my paretns are more imortant than you.

My mother-n-law does not accept me. I get that! But after 16 years of marraige and five kids she would get the idea that I am here to stay! Her parents adore me her neighbors love me her family respects me. Her son is a butt, but I stay. I draw the line at her trying to "control" my kids. Is this wrong?

My ex-husband is living in a 1 bedroom apartment. He has a roommate for a few months. His roommate is married and his wife comes to visit him every few months.

He was talking to me yesterday about his roommate and his wife fight and make up and generally try to have a good time together. They have been married for 4 years.

He gives them advice on how not to break up their marriage and be friends for life.

He makes comments about how I never showed him how much I cared for him and really accepted him as my husband.

It makes me feel sad that our marriage broke up. Then, I think about the abuse - both emotional and physical and remember why I left.

I know that I should not be talking to him. I just get physically and emotionally sick after I do because he makes me feel bad and guilty.

I am envious of other couples who are able to make it work though. I must have been flawed in some way...

For the past 3 weeks he will cancel the day before and tell me he is coming another day. I don't think he can do this and can't afford a lawyer.
