Has anyone been in this situation before? He's been married before (divorced 4 years) and has a 6yoa child. We've been together for almost 2 years and love each other very much but now he's saying that he can't give me what I want (a marriage and children). He said that he doesn't want to waste my time so i'm going to move out. I don't want to leave him and he says that he wants to be with me. I'm lost and don't know what to do. He said that he doesn't know when he'll be ready to commit again and wants me to go out with others to see if I can find someone that is ready. If you've been in this situation, let me know what you did and should I stay with him or leave???? Help me please!

Hi everybody,

I have had a girlfriend for 5 years, a little different way of relationship, is a widow and has 2 children . All my family were against the relation. Specially because I am the eldest child in family with high education and so .... !!! I love her character, like her appearance and doubtful about the effect of children and the difference of education level in our life ( we didnt live together, just met ), tired of blames of family .....

I feel the best thing for both of us is to find another partner who is more appropriate with less ifs and buts. However she doesnt what this and wants to resist against all the odds ! It is 2.5 years that I am abroad and we only had tel conversation , she rings EVERYDAY !

How should i break up the relation in a way that not to hurt her kind heart, with minimal suffering, please help me.

p.s. Also being abroad for long time i need to have a relation and dont want to cheat.

Many tax

I've been married to my husband for 9 years now. I'm currently 28. Marriage had been generally good but over the course of our time together, our "flame" had been slowly diminishing. My husband is a good man, but I'm no longer in love with him and am not sexually interested in him any more... This as a back drop, I recently started having an affair with my 1st-cousin. Growing up, my cousin and I were very close and we previously had serious intimate/sexual relationship on and off for several years in my teen years before meeting my husband. My cousin is single and he tells me he that he has always loved me and he wants to be with me (first cousin marriage is legal where I live). I have never loved another guy as much as I love him (never even felt this way about my husband even in the beginning of our relationship), and want to start a family with him. I'm not sure what to do...I really don't want to hurt my husband but I also can't live like this either. We have no kids.

How can American husbands tolerate their wives?

In Indian culture the wife is very loyal/faithful/submissive to her husband. If my wife acted like an American woman I'd end my life, how can men in the US tolerate their wives. They dont do anything for them but expect their husbands to do everything for them. why are american women so selfish?

to keep her from cheating?

I have come to realize that for a woman, sex is like a drug and if they don't get it enough they'll pull that whole "I love you but not in love with you" line so that they can get a different member rammed into their meat grinder.

In other words, the URGE to BREED will override a woman if she doesn't get it enough.

So what is a good frequency?

Same partner the whole time. Would you consider it normal, or enough to have it 3 times a week? Would you consider that the other person was failing to keep their end of the marriage contract if you didn't feel it was enough. The other partner is good with money and faithful and loving in all other ways, this is the only problem.

We've been together 15 years, most of them rough. I'm unclear why, but my husband had a falling out with his family 8 years ago, they blame me and say that they won't speak to him until we are divorced. He's been tough to live with since, he flies into rages, will not communicate with or plan anything with me. He's a good man and a good father but this conflict has made him so angry that he cannot love me.

We have separate bedrooms. I run the household, clean and fix the meals but spend the evenings/weekends and holidays alone in my room in order to avoid the fighting. It's become so weird; he refers to himself as my ex-husband, wants me to change my last name, and even told me that I could see other people but he will not consider a divorce under any circumstances.

I have distracted myself with hobbies, school, our kids, and volunteering in order to keep busy. The loneliness is really starting to get to me. What do other people do to cope in bad marriages?

hello
im just asking this question because my parents make me doubt the true love between married couples.
They often fight, argue, and dont agree with each other. They get along together sometimes, but that's really rare. They are sometimes abusive toward their kids and each other, and seem to stay as a couple only because of their kids, meaning my younger sister and me. I'm 17 and she's 13.
Im worried about them and myself, becuase I find myself not believing in true love between marriage these days.. whenever I see a happy-looking couple, I doubt how much they love each other. Or if I'm going to get a man who really truly loves me.

I love my husband very much and know that he is in love with me. He tells me every day how beautiful I am. I was having a big problem with getting help from him financially and found myself paying all of the bills. He has medical problems that affect his ability to work a strenuous job. I finally told him to help or leave. That he needed to get his %*$& straight and figure out his priorities. This is both of our 2nd marriages. I don't want to give up on someone that I know loves me. He had withdrawn and become unavailable to me. He says he's insecure and is scared of losing me. SO PULL AWAY? Does this make sense at all? Well since threatening to end things, he's improved. Yesterday he gave me $100 towards bills and the day before he gave me money also. Was it right to pull the b**** card??? Is he going to continue to improve or is this just temporary. I usually see these things coming a mile away, but this time I'm blinded.

My wife wants a dog. We have been married for almost 7 years and she continually brings up this sore subject with me.

I am EXTREMELY allergic to dogs. Even these dogs that friends and family have that are supposedly "hypo-allergenic" tend to bother me when I am around them for more than an hour or so. I itch, I break out in hives, and I have trouble breathing. It's a problem I have had since childhood and was even an issue for me when I took allergy shots. As an adult it has simply continued to get worse.

We have a TINY yard and I am not one who wants to tie a dog to live outside for thier entire life. Our kids are all in school and my wife and I both work during the day, so I know an inside dog would be left alone for hours on end and would most likely relieve themselves all over our house while we are gone.

However, it still gets brought up every few months and I get blamed for being the "bad guy".

Am I being unreasonable here?

I would appreciate some advice.

we have been together over 2 years, we have been through a lot, and we fighted and hurt each other too much, so 2 days ago I broke up with my bf, he was very pissed off, he said ok we should both move on now.
Yesterday I saw him on a dating website, when we were together, he suspended that account, yesterday I thought he might be there, so I looked up and I did find him there. The moment I saw his name on the screen, it hurt like hell. I love him very much, I cant accept that he is acting so fast, I cant accept he would hold another woman in arms instead of me. I couldnt help to call him, he turned the phone off when he knew it was me. So the whole night I couldnt sleep at all, I sent him lots of messages, I was like crazy...

I left him in October to point out to him that he has been verbally abusing me for years (yes, I've done the psychology etc and it has been doctor confirmed). I did not blame everything on him. I know I should have put my foot down years ago. I left with the intentions of trying to work out our marriage and get back together with a healthier way of fighting and solving problems (as opposed to he yells 1" from my face until I submit and calls me names such as "dead weight, B***ch, worthless, and undesirable). I believe that there is love between us because we have so many good memories. I know that I love him. I just want to be treated like a person.

So, 1 month after I left, he cheats on me, then calls me asking me down to the house for sex (which I didn't do). I find out I'm pregnant about then (with my hubby's baby before I left), and he continues to cheat; quits marriage counselling. Now he's after 50% custody of both my kids (I'm due in 1 month) and is telling the judge

my husband is addicted to porn. he does sex talks to girls online while im sleeping. I found him chatting dirty to a filipino girl while i was sleeping next to where the computer was and i totally faked my sleep and found him talking about oral sex and taking her to bed in a fantasy. Is it a warning sign? He also fakes his identity on the messangers, looks at naked girls' pics and views live webcams. I dont think he finds me attractive enough for him. Our sex life is also not spiced up; he rather prefers to look at the porn and naked girls than caressing, cuddling and loving me. When i ask him that why he is doing this, he replies by saying" im stressed out and i simply feel pleasure to watch porn and in a way it deals with my stress". However, i dont think its a valid reason for him to defend his nasty actions. Im pretty sure he doesnt date girls in real life because he mostly spends his day at home watching porn. i dont know what to do anymore. Im confused. what i should do? any sugg

She and I have talked to him all the way through the process of me moving in. We have kept him informed of everything to make sure that he is comfortable with such a big change. Tonight in an argument with his mom he stated that even though he said he was happy he really isn't with the situation. We have already bought the rings, and we have the date set. I am in a position were I am starting to have second thoughts because her son literally blows up when they argue and is destructive. I don't know if I can learn to father a kid that is not mine and will show no respect. What do I do any suggestions?
