My husband drinking is out of control. I told him so many times how this is damaging our marriage and ask him to quit, seek help but he still contines to drink. He drinks on the weekends and three nights in the week. He buys a twelve pack and has to drink all in one night and on weekends even more. I am so unhappy and lonely since its all he wants to do and leave me with no attention. I am trying to find a better high paying job so I can support myself and going to leave if he does not stop. Any advice will be helpful.

We have a wonderful 9 year old son, who we both adore. I want us to stay together because I love her and above all I want us to be a family for our son who loves us dearly and he would be devasted if we separate then divorce, or we sell our family home. But, I do not want my wife to be unhappy for the rest of her life. She refuses to go to Relate etc and says there is no point because she simply doesn't love me. I don't think she is having an affair although this started 2 years ago when she moved to a much more pressured role in a bank and mixes with many single parent Mums. She seems constantly stressed out by work, tired and unhappy but refuses to work part-time. Also, she went on the pill about the same time as this started and our love life has sank to zilch! I do not pressure her, nor do I want anyone else. I'm getting old and cannot afford another mortgage (5 years to my OAP), especially if we split our equity 50/50. How can it better for all of us, esp our son?

Me and my wife were recently married and I mentioned to her I would love to have a very large family....To my surprise she turned into what I can best describe as a scared kitten...To be honest, I will be making more than enough money to support a family with 6-8 children so that is not her worry...Is she simply worried about going through the process of passing 6-8 kids?....I have worked hard to be able to accomplish this in my life (honestly, I may have never mentioned my intentions with her completely--but she was happily expecting children)...What do you think is her true worry?

Me and my girl of 4 years have an ok relationship, things have seemed to go downhill lately. Well today I left my 2 year old's pair of sandals in a shopping cart. We got home and she completely flipped, she slammed the doors, cursed at me, and then drove back to the store to buy him a new pair. She got home and was still angry and throwing a fit.

I told her it was an accident and I didn't realize I left them in the cart. She said I was stupid for not going right back to buy him a pair of sandals, so she had to do it.

So eventually I got fed up and began yelling at her, telling her that it wasn't my fault and I would get him another pair, but it didn't do anything. When she got home I said, "hey honey," and she said "F you"

So now we're fighting... how do I solve this?

He's in the coast guard and we've been dating only a month. We've tried dating before, but the distance was too much for us. He just transferred here and we met last night. We plan to get together more often, and possibly move in together. We've talked about our lives and what we see for our future, and we agree on almost everything. Would I say yes if he asked me to marry him? I don't know. What do you think?

my dad started to come home late recently.about 3am almost every night and he won't stay at home during his holidays. i checked his phone bill and found that he is making 4 to 5 calls to china(chinese mistress is famous here) daily for 3 months and that cost him hundreds every month so, i called to that number and found out it belongs to a chinese ladies. she admitted that she came to my town before. i also saw photos taken in pub or night club taken by him. today i randomly check on the the night spots i know in my town and i saw his car. he saw me there too. he just acted dumb. my mum is suspecting him but she don't know anything yet. what should i do?

My husband has a master's degree, but can't seem to keep a job. He's had at least 5 jobs in the past year, and I can't even count the number he's had in the 12 years we've been married. When he's out of a job (due to being fired or quitting because of some lame excuse), he's terribly depressed and he does NOTHING. He feels sorry for himself and I don't know what to do... He can be a great guy, and I would hate to end this relationship. I've always believed in the "for better or worse" part, but it doesn't seem to let up, ever. Then, when things start to get bad financially, he starts fussing at me for "spending money." (groceries, children's school lunch, and crazy things like that)

He can't find time to get a job, but manages to find time for a daily afternoon nap.

I think I would take it better if he would help out around the house while he's laying around in it all day every day, but he doesn't. About the only thing he manages to do is to get his cereal bowl to the kitchen!

I have two experienced professionlas telling me different things: one says that ONLY police serves the annulment papers to my spouse, and another says that these papers can be sent by mail, and if no one responds in 30 days, my plea would be approved.
Do you know anything about it?

Just wanted to let those of you know that me talking about my not getting enough "personal attention down there" paid off last night!!!! And I didn't have to hold back from him either!!!
My husband loves me and he doesn't want me to be unfulfilled!

Someone suggested a little liquor and that WORKED!!!!
( a little Hypnotic & Hennessey did the trick! ;)
I admit, I sent a prayer up too and I REALLY believe God heard me!
Just wanted to say thank yall for your insight!!!

My 18 year old neice has just shared with us that she is marrying an 18 year old Navy guy. They plan to marry in December.
Already she has her wedding gown. Her boyfriend has just entered his 2nd year in the navy.
I'm concerned because they have not yet seen or experienced life and already want to tie themselves down to marriage.
He will only get to see her a few times a year because he serves in the navy.
What do you think?
Her italian parents are very supportive and think it's wonderful their 18 year old is marrying an 18 year old?
Suggestions?

Minnesota is a no fault divorce state where proof of the other person's fault is not required. What if the other person is cheating on their spouse? Is there any recourse either against the spouse or the other man?
