Yes very much so. For one thing you are going through a grieving process, as if your other half passed away. It is harsh and it can be good. You are free and can start over again. Go with your emotions and love yourself, things will get better, hang in there!

yes and its beacuse you have no close emotional support like you had when your married-so everything FEELS more dramatic, just when a situation occurs, breathe through it, and behave in a way you can be pround of in years to come... I know its hard I was a single mom and you can loose your perspective easily...stay close to family & friends as best you can. ...Good luck!

Yes, there are times when I compare my life now to my life before and thank my lucky stars I got out. But there are other times when suddenly I miss him so much it hurts. But I think it lessens over time.
