im married.. and when my wife is not around i look at porn and personal ads.. for pictures and things.. i once a long time ago emailed women but never contacted them outside of the initial email.. now its just pictures and personal ad viewings on craigslist.. is that cheating?

That is a sign that he's probably looking to cheat. I think it's sad as hell that men just can't have one woman. I said this in another question, and I'll say it again, if my husband ever cheat on me, I'm done. Me as a woman I don't have to put up with that type of BS. So far so good, not saying he's a Saint, but there are men out here that are faithful. I prayed for my husband, and I got a good choice of a man. We have a wonderful relationship. hell he worries I might cheat on him, BC every woman in the past cheated on him, I told him he had lil girls, he has a woman now, he never has to worry about me cheating. If my man can't satisfy me mentally, and also physcially, then I don't need to be with him. Having two men , I just can see it. What for? A man should feel the same damn way, every woman has the same thing in between her legs. So what da hell. If you feel he's cheating on you, then you know what to do. Ya see yrs ago women stayed with their husbands for the kids sake. Well it's 2008 women aren't taking that s*** anymore. We are stronger , more ambitious, etc.

I say stick with just looking at porn stay away from the personal ads because you will get curious and probably act on it. You trying to contact a woman is a big no no because that is an act to try to cheat.

Trust is a serous thing to lose of your spouse. It will take the fun out of your marrige and the trust. If you can't tell her about it then it is cheating. And she will feel that way too. Cheating is cheating. Love and trust go together and should not be taken lightly. How would you feel if she did those things? Answer honestly then stop. There is nothing more precious than a good marriage and spouse you can trust.

No, it's not cheating, but any action that you have to hide from your spouse is an act of betrayal. Put yourself in her shoes whenever you question the intentions of your actions. If you know that she'd be hurt or upset by what you're doing than why are you doing it.

It's not cheating if all you're doing is looking. Being married doesn't mean being dead. It IS cheating when you contact them...obviously email is contact.

my opinion is if you are doing something that you wouldn't NORMALLY do if your spouse were present, YES it IS cheating.(This is irregardless as to whether it's sexual/flirting/viewing porn--doesn't matter!)
Just the fact that you said you do it while she's not around proves that you FEEL it is wrong. Otherwise, it wouldn't matter if she were there or not.
