People think more about themselves than others. I havn't been divorced, but I know women who have, including my sister. I feel for her and hope she can make a happy life for herself. What other people think doesn't matter. Best wishes.

Look, the grass is not always greener on the other side - just b/c other marriages look like they are "together" and wonderful - doesn't mean they are - it just means that the other people are hiding their problems better. I bet you if you sat down with other women and talked for real about their relationships - they all have issues. Either their husbands work too much, doesn't help around the house, doesn't spend enough time with the kids, doesn't listen - blah blah - it's all the same, just different people

NO I do not feel like this.
I have been married for 10 yrs. (tomorrow) & , no
our marriage is not always peachy, but it is a good marriage . We learned to talk to eachother about eveything & to LISTEN to each other too, then compromise & find the best solution when a problem does happen.
perhaps all you need is some marrige counseling & as far as your friends how dare they talk about you behind your back, a TRUE friend would NOT
do that, they would try to help you !

I feel this same exact way. My marriage isn't the greatest and I am contemplating a divorce. I feel that my family (parents, and siblings) look down on me like I am a loser and a failure. They think my husband is such a great person, and he is. However, they don't live with him and know his habits and what goes on behind closed doors. It is quite difficult and I often feel I live my life to please my parents while I am a grown woman.

Friends who gloat about how wonderful their lives are are kidding themselves, how do they know what is around the corner, perhaps they will also find out their husbands have cheated, no one knows what the future holds. It's all in your head, you are the one that feels a failure, no one else is thinking that of you, they are probably feeling sympathy for you, and thinking "That could happen to me". No one has a perfect life, so don't think yours is any different, you just have a different set of problems, that's all.

Friends, real friends, wouldn't talk behind your back, ever. You feel that way because it is part of the healing process. Your friends don't have any better marriages then you do, trust me.
