Their other parent is being pissy and refuses to hand them over. The custody papers state that on certain days of the week the children are suppose to be with the other parent. Is there anyone you can call to enforce this(such as the police?) or do you just have to handle this in court?

Hubby and I were married 19 years ago. We had no money at the time so all we bought were very very inexpensive small gold bands for our wedding rings. No engagement ring. No diamonds etc. Well its been almost 20 years! And honestly I feel a little embarassed by it, like people look at it and think we are still poor or he never thought I was worth an upgrade. It just looks really out of place with what other women my age have and I actually dont even wear it anymore because of this. I wear a much prettier ring on that finger usually. Seems to be a problem lately with the hubby as well, he has recently stopped wearing his bc I dont wear mine ( so he says ). Am I being shallow? If I am, how do I get over it?

i got married about a year ago to my high school sweetheart. things were perfect. until a few months ago, it seems like a totally differenet person. i do not know what to do, i try to talk to him and he just won't. he is so mean to me i can't even belive him. i can't tell my friends because their his friends also. and i can't tell my family because they won't understand. i feel i am living a nightmare. everynight i cry myself to sleep, i was never like this. i used to love life and recently i can not even smile. i swear not in a million years i would nave thought my relasionship would be like this. i feel as if he hates me and i have never done anything to hurt him.

I've been feeling very unattractive during my pregnancy and as a result I've become slightly depressed. I am now nineteen weeks and the larger breasts are fantastic but my belly sticks out a bit and my rear end is larger. We don't have sex anymore but he can talk about attractive girls at work and how cute they are. I haven't had a compliment in months!

I am not on welfare so the state could care less about my order. He pays only 25 dollars every three months so they don't revoke his license. He works under the table as a handyman for cash, but I don't have proof. He is supposed to pay me 500 a month! This has been going on for three years...

On Sunday i told my soon to be ex husband that i DO NOT want to be friends and that we should keep everything at a level where we only talk about our childs needs. so he calls me yesterday and start just spewing what he has been doing all week and what he will be doing today and all weekend. he still has not purchased a bed for our 2 month old and has NO money! he says he is NOT mad at me and he is there if i need to talk about anything!
Why did he not hear a word i said! he is pretending like everything is the way it used to be!

This is for women to answer. Did you ever get married knowing while you were doing it that you might indeed be making a mistake? I mean, that you were doing it for the wrong reasons, but you said "what the hell, ill just do it," and went ahead and get married? ok, this may sound a bit neurotic but what is up with this? I was txting a guy I have been seeing and then he stopped all of a sudden and I haven't heard from him in 2 days. We weren't fighting or anything and he lives out of town but we have mutual friends who say he is busy but other than that, he is fine. I txt him twice but heard nothing.

We tend to talk more via txt then on the phone which is why I didn't pick up the phone to call him but since I had made 2 attempts to contact him, I just pretty much decided I wasn't making anymore. Chances are I will hear from him this weekend like nothing is wrong.........is this normal for guys?

You guys don't have that same need to talk frequently? thx

How do you modivate a wife to work at a marriage? For me it just comes natural, always striving to grow alittle deeper. But how do you motivate someone that is fine the way things are, when you know it could be so much more? I come from a family of no divorce and lots of great memories, she comes from a family of divorce and lots of emotional pain.

OK - my husband drank heavily. He'd get drunk and tell me to "get my **** and get out". After about the 3rd request, I did. Had an opportunity to buy a house with a male friend. We bought it, moved in, and now male friend says he's in love. My husband (been separated 7 months) says he didn't mean it. Everything will be different (married 7 yrs), please come home. Huh? I'm not considering marriage with male friend, but like the newness of our relationship. I'm settled in our new home, if I go back I may not be so lucky the next time he says "Get Out!" ok. i do not want a divorce, but i will not stand in the way of my husband wanting one, i have told him that i will sign the d.p. the situation is this: my husband had his brother moved in, he was suppose to stay for 3-4 months, he stayed over a year and a half, while leaving in our home the brother encouraged my husband to do some illegal stuff and i did not approve of it and i express to my husband my concern. the brother continues to disrespect me in our home and my husband just turns a blind eye to it and i got fedup with it and kicked his brother out. he is 28 and i feel like he should stop being lazy and get on with it. i did not kick my husband out, but he chose to leave when i kicked his brother out and now he is using a lame excuse of why he left, stating that other women out there would not have a problem with his brother leaving with them. was i wrong for kicking the brother out? i strongly feel that i was not wrong for kicking the brother out, but from a mens view i could b

My husband's ex lover is asking for more child maintainence money.(his relationship with her was adulterous and twin boys were born)Now she is asking for more than the £600 that he sends for the kids.She gets more than £400 from tax credits and child benefit and her salary is over£2000 a month.He would not speak to me about this but it is affecting his share of bill payments for our home and our 3 kids.

my husband and i have separated. he's been dating and what not aand i was just waiting for it to work out...not gonna happen i guess. anyway, he told me that he was gonna go file for temp custody of the kids. he doesn't take care of them now and the only time he did, he kept my 5 year old son up till 1 am and then didn't take him to school. i don't want to make him pay a bunch of child support, but i can't let him get my kids either. any advise? where do i go to file for temp. custody? do i need a lawyer?
