I've been feeling very unattractive during my pregnancy and as a result I've become slightly depressed. I am now nineteen weeks and the larger breasts are fantastic but my belly sticks out a bit and my rear end is larger. We don't have sex anymore but he can talk about attractive girls at work and how cute they are. I haven't had a compliment in months!

he is a loser and a jerk, sorry. he should be enjoying you being pregnant, bigger breast, bigger butt, and you can have sex together and not worry about getting pregnant, lol. my wife is attractive to me now and when she was pregnant, she was still attractive. she was beautiful and still is. you need to let him know how you feel because stress is not good for your health. he is inconsiderate and only cares about himself. he is also rude by looking at his coworkers.

Most men do, and then some.... some men are totally entranced by the baby belly, and see their wives as more womanly and are totally into it all, because they love their wife even more because she is carrying his baby. Ok, that's how it was for us. Sex was never a problem, and we did it til the day before the baby was born. There were days I jumped the man as he came in the door after work, and he would just throw up his hands and say OK, OK... and just laugh... and take care of business. However, the hormones ebb and flow throughout the pregnancy....
My husband at the time was working with several other guys whose wives were pregnant and those two or so guys would talk about how awful it was their wives were pregnant and they didn't have any sex, etc. My husband, who would never ever tell our personal biz to anyone, said he REALLY found it hard to hold his tongue to tell him not all women were like that!
Your guy is disrespecting you by talking about the other women -- surely that just didn't start when you were pregnant.
YOU make yourself LOOK and FEEL GOOD for YOU!!! That's the most important thing.

I found my wife attractive when she was pregnant. However was a little apprehensive about sex...afraid we might hurt the baby. Perhaps he feels the same way...you could try to talk to him about it, but many men don't like to discuss their feelings.
Try and be patient, but don't just ignore how you feel. It is important for the two of you to be close, at least in spirit, as you bring a new life into the world.
It may help if you initiate some intimacy, but take it slow and don't be too discouraged if your first attempt is not accepted. After a while I'm sure he will get over whatever fears he may have and rekindle and reciprocate the intimacy.

I can only speak for myself. I have found pregnant women to be very beautiful and I was always attracted to my wife during her pregnancy. And the sex was fantastic! He does not know what he is missing. You are about half way there, hang in there, he will change before the baby is born. Let him see you nude, you may be in for a good experience with your husband.

Tell him how you feel. I know I felt the same way, even though you know there's a baby in there you feel unattractive. My husband was very good throughout my pregnancy and always told me how hot I was even after I'd put on 45lbs and my feet were so swollen they resembled footballs. I'd say tell him it makes you feel worse about yourself when he talks about how attractive other women are when here you are carrying his baby. Nothing should be more attractive than that!
Oh, and we had sex right up until the last week. The second trimester was great!!!

some men think that their wife is the most beautiful when she is carrying HIS child. There are a lot of people out there that think the later stages of pregnancy are beautiful, which is why women these days wear shirts that show off how pregnant they are. A lot different than the old days when you tried to conceal it.
There is a "Hooters" here in my home town that has two or three very pregnant waitresses...some one there must think that they are beautiful, because they do not fit the standard accepted perception of what you will see when you take the time to go to "Hooters"

You should still do the things that you know turn your husband on. I personally find a pregnant woman attractive if she dresses right and carries herself in a good way. Maybe you feeling unattractive is showing, and in turn making him unattracted to you.

i loved it when my wife was pregnant, she was so sexy! i loved the fact that she was carring our baby and that was sexy to me. so guys just don't like it but maybe if you talked to him about how it bothers you (him talking about other girls) and that it makes you fell bad he will quit, so guys just are like that, so i would say just talk to him and try to explane it to him. my wifes friend got pregnant around the same time my wife did and her husband was like that, it was so hard on her and it really made her fell bad, so she was really unhappy and well i tried to talk to him but some men just do not care,sorry but when you have the kid he will go back to his old self and if he says anything about the after baby weight tell him this it took 9 months to gain it so it will take 9 months to lose it an dif he does not like it the he does not have to look at it. i love my wife pregnant or not, and me should like there wifes when there pregnant they helped them get that way so they should be okay with it. i hope everything goes okay an dmaybe when you talk to hiim he will quit but remember that weight will not always be there, and when it's over you will lose it and be your old self remind him of that, tell him if he does not like you now since he helped you get that way when you've had the kids it's going to be a long cold night before he gets sex agian...lol.but i hope you the best,

My husband says he loved looking at me pregnant and eveytime we see a pregnant woman he gives me "the look"...LOL... so I'm sure you are still very attractive :-)
Also take joy in this, this is the time when you should feel most comfortable in your body and everyone knows you have no control over it anymore, and it's totally understandable :-)

It is a TV show - its producers are probably concerned about ratings. Showing naked women helps the show to get higher ratings than it would by showing naked men since there is a bigger market for naked women than there is for naked men.
