Marriage & Divorce - 10 April 2007

Last weekend opportunity arose and it happened. I feel sick in my heart now that its over. My hubby enjoyed it. Dont get me wrong I dont do this kind of thing. Im not the kind of wife who lets her man tell her what to do. This was his fantasy and I felt I should do it for him. Was I wrong to do this?

i'm an 18 year old senior in high school and my boyfriend is a 19 year old freshman in college. we've been together for over 5 years and i am going to a school next year a few miles from him and plan on living together...I feel like we're ready to be engaged...i mean we know eachother so well, have been together for so long, and are planning our futures together...but this is when we're talkinga bout it lightly..recently I told my boyfriend I was ready for engagement and he said he didn't feel the same way. he says he wants to be with me forever but doesn't think hes ready for that big of a commitment because hes still young...i agree we're young but i think it could work..and we wouldnt get married for another 3 or so years, at least until he gets a job out of college...but if we're planning on being together...why doesn't he like the idea of engagement now? i'm going to try not to get annoying about it and give him time but i just don't understand...any help/ideas...please

My boyfriend and i dated 2 years ago for a very short time but we got to know each other pretty well. We lost contact but started talking again in Jan of this year. He came home for a break not too long after that. We decided about mid feb to begin dating again. He asked me to marry him and i said yes! When he gets home we plan on getting an apt together. My question is am i too young to be getting married and moving out or am i just the right age? I feel i'm at about the right age but i've been hearing different. Most of my friends and married and on their own. I kinda feel im farther behind then they are in that dept. I love him with all my heart and i honestly think that we'll make it in the long run. How do i know i'm making the right choice when there are no gaurentee's in life?

the american family is falling apart, this is a big reason why the country is falling apart, should there compensation for sticking it out? The money wouldnt be enough to be the only reason to stick together, but it would be something to help people stick together. love will do the rest, lol.

My ex wife cheated and decided to leave me. She ended up with the house after our divorce . She now lives in the house with her boyfriend while I'm living in a small apartment and paying child support for our three kids, barely able to get by. I love my kids but i feel like i'm being punished for my ex's decisions. She broke up the marriage, why should i suffer?

My husband and I argue about the boundary rules I set because he's been caught in bad positions like (giving a male buddies female friend a ride) and stuff like that well Our mutual friend who's husband just left for Korea yesterday got my husband to come over and help install the new dryer she got delivered today, it was actually delivered I saw the guys bring it they just forgot somethin on dryer, something I'm cool with that. But he stayed and let the kids play her husband says its cool but I feel that I as the female should take the kids to play and that since his buddy is gone he has no reason to be over there for more than 5 minutes unsupervised. She is my good friend and there has never been any inkling of an issue but I just don't think its appropriate. He says Im insecure but I would never dare ask her husband to do anything for me if she were not around and I would not try to be in any position where we can be alone, am I just insecure and should loosen up or am i right

Hi, I have been with my man for almost 4 years now, and it is really getting me down that he hasn't asked me to marry him yet. We built a house together and have lived together for a year now. When we first moved in he said it was his plan to marry me within a year of moving in, but that year has now passed and still no proposal. He says he is committed to me and I should just enjoy what we have and relax, he says he wants to get married. I just want him to ask me, am I being unreasonable? Is three and a half years too soon to expect lifetime committment? He knows how much it means to me, and yet still he puts it off. It is getting to a point where I truely am hurting about it every day. Am i being silly? What can I do? Every day that he puts it off it makes me wonder if he just isnt sure I am the one he wants to marry. Why is this so important to me and not to him? It is not as if we are 18, we are both in our mid thirties. I dont want big expensive wedding, just lifetime committment.
