I do not understand why my good looking wife would have an affair with a man that old what could be the appeal. He's kind of bald and wide around the middle an I bet he has a hairy back.

I personally find older men attractive because they are mature, sophisticated, well spoken, stable, clean, punctual, open, educated (most times), and romantic. I think they have learned from their mistakes as youth and are making up for it in their latter years. However, if she married u as a youngin' her cheating is the issue -- whether he is young or old -- she is unfaithful and that is something u should not tolerate. Is it her boss? Someone in a position of authority? Get to the bottom of the REAL issue -- this is just a symptom.

Hey!!! I'm 51, and I keep up and out perform men half my age...but, age IS just a number. And cheating has nothing to do with the age differance. My wife has refused me sex for 8 months, because she just had a flashback of her being raped by her dad. That is more than I can deal with...she has currently put us into debt to the tune of over $75,000. beyond our already morgage. Is it cheating when you are not getting "any" anyway?

I know that it all sounds bad but sometimes experience is what turns a girl on. It is amazing sometimes what an older man can do to teach a woman. He can make her feel things that she didnt know she could. Dont get me wrong she sould not have cheated on you, but you asked why so that is my opinion.

I don't know, since I'm against cheating, but a guess:

1) maybe she wants someone disposable, which you are not.

No excuse, of course, but perhaps she just wants action without responsibility.

2) Or she might just be an adrenaline junkie;

3) Or he might make her feel more attractive simply because he's into her more than you are, and it's a pure ego boost.

Either for money (you know best her character) or because she was getting from him something she was not getting from you. Apparently she was not looking for good looks, but for someone to share emotions. Did you talk to her often enough (about something different than yourself)? Did you spend enough quality time? Did you appreciate her? Perhaps such questions would lead you to the answer. Perhaps not... perhaps she's just a cheater ... you know best.

Yes, I have a hairy back. But I make her feel safe. I make her feel loved and appreciated. I tell her every day how beautiful she is and how much I love her. When we make love I put her pleasure in front of mine.

I find older men attractive if they actually are. If they don't resemble Goerge Clooney forget it. Why your wife would cheat on you with someone like that is beyond me though. Unless he has a deep wallet.
