We are both unhappy - and I've lost all love for him (for reasons I'm not going to get into), but we have a child together, who means everything to each of us. How do you do it? I can't handle the thought of having to go through a custody battle, or splitting time with my baby. He seems to prefer to stay in this relationship, just for the baby, and does not want to talk about ending it... we are not married.

Due to emotional hurt which I had, I demanded my hubby to quit his contact with this female friend and though my husband assured me he no longer in contact with her, somehow I still do not trust him totally (or maybe it takes time for me to accept it).

Do you think I am too much (or I'm having depression)?

Please advise. Thank you.

I helped my father leave the house and move to our old house about 6 blocks away (with some of his own possessions). This was done because he could not stand my mother anymore. i helped him because we had planned this so that later on my (under 18 yrs old) brothers and i (also under 18) could move down to our old house with him. My questions are: Because my father has left the household, is there a law that with make it difficult for (or prevent) him to gain custody? We want to move because we cannot stand my mothers character, she is a HUGE liar. Once there is a divorce filed, what will be looked at for my father to gain custody? What are the children's rights on custody? How can the children help determine who will gain custody? Is there a law that allows children to choose which parent will gain custody?

(after answering this urgent question, please provide me with any know web resource that can help me on my custody problem)

Please someone answer ASAP!
A million Thanks!

~Jaime

I have remained a strong advocate of implementation of common civil code in India if not on all issues but at least on issue concerning marriage, divorce & maintenance. I know many of you will not agree with me because of religious beliefs, but when some real problem arise in your matrimonial life you all looking for its solution, & if by chance you come to know had there been a common matrimonial law with all the provisions that could have covered your matrimonial problem you would be better placed than what you are now. In India the government enacted The Special Marriage Act, 1954 that was a step towards the implementation of the common civil code, but unfortunately very few know about this enactment, even if you marry according to your religious rites & customs you can get your such a marriage register under this Act, benefit of this will be that after such a registration you can avail all the provisions of this Act. My question is what do you say about it?

I have been married for all of one year and have come to realize that I don't love my husband anymore. I like him as a human being but am not in love with him anymore and am no longer attracted to him. We sleep apart and our lives are moving in different directions. We are too different to make our marriage work.

I am not mean or spiteful...even though he has been abusive and cruel.

I just want to leave with my head held high and my dignity in tact.

My husband and his wife at the time split up in 1992. He moved out of the state and she filed for a divorce. He received papers from her and signed them, had them notorized and sent them back up to her, so she could file them. After being "divorced" from her for 1 1/2 to 2 years we got married. We have been married for almost 13yrs. Now we find out that she never filed the papers. What do we do?

Married for 12 years and she started a relationship with a coworker 4 weeks before she left me. She told me that she was unhappy for a while. She never expressed her feelings to me and she didn't leave me until she had another love relationship waiting in the wings. I believe she is codependent because she has never been on her own. So is this considered cheating?Using someone else to get out of an unhappy marriage?

I used to call my husband cute boody, cuddles (hence my nic- CUDDLE'S CUTIE) and now i call him Papi ( no im not hispanic but he said he has too many people callin him daddy so i had to borrow a hispanic word lol). He calls me big booty and baby doll (thats my favorite one). I was just curious about other nic names that you call your husband or wife or that they call you. Embarrasing, cute, strange, funny, or whatever.

Should a complaining spouse be Worried or are they Insecure?
Does a RPG relationship with someone who isn't your spouse warrant a Divorce?
