No, NO At any time a gift is just that, something special for you. You would never think about giving back wedding presents in a divorce would you? Sounds crazy, but people have asked that question. Cheap or expensive the gifts are yours or his to keep

I'm assuming that you mean presents you've given one another over the years........like the $3000 golf clubs my hubby got a few years ago and the new snowmobile he got the same year. No, presents are presents and should stay with the intended recipient.

I don't know what the law says, especially in your state but I believe that if my husband gave me a gift, it's mine. It should not be part of a divorce. I would not want the things I gave him back. Sylvia
