MY husband said he was in amarriage mode, so what is it?

2006-10-12 15:16:40 · 4 answers · asked by Nadine M 1

Any time my gf starts poking around THE topic of marriage, I go speechless. We were engaged before, but then we had a huge fight and broke up for about a month. We got back together and I wanted things to go slower this time around. Well It's been about 3 months and every once in a while she'll ask a question to me regarding marriage and "our" future. I go speechless, because I do want to be with her, i just don't want to marry her right now. I want to be more finacially secure before I tie the knot. So I guess the question is...When she asks, how can I tell her how I feel without her getting upset or angry?

Would any of you men be able to go on if you werent able to look at another sexy woman again this means porn, images on comp.and etc if it meant you would not be w/ your wife if you didnt stop. My husband says that if he couldnt that he would be able to not have the desire to lookat other beautiful women again if it meant losing me. I am not talking about looking for a beautiful woman you are seeking for a relationship I am talking about if you were married and this was your choice to be married to the woman you love or not be with her because you cant give up your desire to look at other women like i mentioned above. I honestly can say that I could stop looking at sexy men in this way which i am not if I were to choose to stop or get divorced so let me know your thoughts and know I am not dealing with this situation myself I just wanted to know what you men thought If you had to choose.

I recently had a co-worker who said he refuses to get married and have kids because he considers it a rat race (financially and socially) in today's America and that he doesn't want to be a sole-provider so a woman can use procreation as an excuse to not work for the next 15-20 yrs. If you knew someome like this what would you think of him and what social problems and stigmas do you think he will face during his life. He is 26 yrs old.

Every time my husband wants to have sex. I do it. Not just because he wants it but because I do too. I have a very high sex drive. We have been married five years and I have never said No. Is that bad? Should I play hard to get sometimes and tease him? I am not into playing games but if it might be a good thing that would be okay. I am always up for improving things.

My husband and I are having troubles in our marraige.... I posted the following, now I'm questioning if a legal seperation will help. He has mentioned it twice now, but I am unsure about it and if it would be the right decision. Please help!!!

I'm married to a wonderful man. He thought it would be awesome to see me w/ another female(possibly join in if time was right). Well, I became friends(and more) w/ a lesbian. I never thought I would/could have deep feelings for another female, but I do. I love both of them - each for their own qualities! He doesn't want me to talk to or see her ever again. But, I feel a pull to her. Not only is she funny, smart and hot, but she makes me feel alive. She compliments me, makes me feel like I truly mean something.

We have three children. and we have our own business. I work part time in the business 15-20 hrs per wk at $12 a hr. My husband pays all the house bills except my car bill and repairs and anything personal for me. I have to ask his bookkeeper for a chk for our monthly bills and then before my husband gives me any money he has to see every bill. monthly bills aprox $1100. per month. I'm not happy with this situation.

Both have been married for over 25 years and have children and grandchildren. Neither one wants a divorce, just an affair between old high school sweethearts.

MY SECOND MARRIAGE, HE HAS BIPOLAR 3, AND HAS MANIC DEPRESSION. HE TAKES 5 OR 6 DIFFERNT MEDS. HE IS SCARED TO MOVE ONE HOUR AWAY FROM HIS PARENTS, (HE'S AN ONLY CHILD AND 42 YEARS OLD), TO MOVE IN WITH ME... HE CUTS HIMSELF TO RELIEVE STRESS IN HIS LIFE. HE IS VERY INSUCURE AND CLINGY, TO ME... I AM GETTING SICK OF IT. I ONCE LOVED HIM SO MUCH I WOULD HAVE DIED FOR HIM, BUT I DON'T ANY MORE. I HAVE TRIED TO GET IT BACK FOR HIM, FOR THE LAST 2 YEARS, AND HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO. HE DID SOMETHING TO RUIN MY LOVE FOR HIM...IS IT TO LATE FOR ME TO GET MY LOVE BACK? I LIVE BY MYSELF AND LIKE IT VERY MUCH. I AM NOT WANTING ANYONE ELSE. I DON'T WANT A RELATIONSHIP. I JUST DON'T KNOW IF I SHOULD PUT THE EFFORT INTO THIS MARRIAGE IF IT'S A LOST CAUSE...

I met someone online more than 2 years ago and we fell in love. She lives thousands of miles away (In the US) and it's going to take a very long time before we can meet. I recently have been having serious doubts that she's married because of things she said and maybe because we still haven't met yet. I asked her but she keeps saying I'm being paranoid. How can I find the truth?
