If you found yourself stranded or caught in an EXTREME emergency situation where lots of physical labor and quick-thinking are required, and there was only ONE person along with you to get out of this situation alive (Keep in mind it would call for lots of teamwork, quick-thinking decisions, common sense, initiative.) who would you want the person with you to be? Why?

-Would it be your significant other? Why or why not?
-Would you be the leader or follower taking directions in this situation? Or would you both equally step up?

She says that's why my Harley Fatboy, "Betty" has quit on me. I guess I do beat on it, and cruise on it when I'm trying to relieve stress. I say it's a just a transmission problem. Who is right?

I've been married for 15yrs.my husband and I have had more than our share of ups and downs.Looking back it seems like more downs than ups.In the beginning we were abundantly happy with each other throughout all the problems a newlywed couple goes through. We were very dedicated to each other now that alot of time has past. The love we use to feel for each other has somehow vanished. We say we love each other but we're not in love with each other like we use to.We haven't been happy with each other for a very longtime now. We've talked about divorce on several different occassions. But we never seem to muster up the courage to do it.So I asked my husband if he's not happy with me why does he stay? His answer to me was the kids and the amount of yrs.we have invested in the marriage. That's it not because he loves me and he wants to make it work.Because if we didn't have kids we probably wouldn't be together. If you were me how would you feel?Would you stay and try to work it out,or leave?

My grandmother, who was married for 50 years ( until my grandfather died)actually NOW says that it was too long to be with one person. You never would have known it while she was married. Was marriage as traditionally held actually meant for people who died at 35?

My husband and I have been married for a very short time, just over a year. He is constantly on the internet viewing porn, chatting and joining websites designed to find singles in his area. He portrays himself as single in his profile. I do not know of any times that he has actually met anybody outside of the internet, like in person. I have confronted him about this, he does not think this is cheating and just says it is an addiction. This really breaks my heart because I love and care about him so much. I don't know what to do to stop this. Please help.

I have found myself falling more and more out of love with my husband over the years. We have been married nearly 8 years, and have 2 children, one of which is autistic, which has put a strain on things, as well as the fact that I was diagnosed with a kidney disease a few years ago.

We always have plenty to talk about, and we argue from time to time, but lately the discussions have been more serious - like the future of our marriage. He has started a new job, and I am about to start one too. There is a fair bit of stress in the house from all this, and we haven't had sex for months. I haven't wanted to, and neither has he. We are rarely intimate any more. We don't hug or kiss any more. He went away on business for a week and I didn't even miss him. In fact, I felt better once he wasn't around. I don't know if it is just a symptom of all the stress of the last few years, and whether something is salvagable. I don't want to split up, but it's hardly a happy marriage.

What does the extra marital affair do for you? Does it allow you to remain married and not face the marital issues? Do you ever fall in love with the other woman and put her before your wife? Will the marriage ever be finished?

I went to hospital 3 times 3 years ago. I accused her of having an afair and last year I caught her emailing this black guy named John. I admit our sex life was not the best. I forgave her then I caught him saying to her to meet hm at his place... I forgave her again but I took away her e-bay account and check book. Then I followed her and she was coming out of some apartments. She said she was on the way to the store. Then she said she should move out to her Moms. I agreed. Now I want her to come back with my son and she won't. I know I should hang it up but I will try anything to get my son back in my life. She lives 1200 miles away and it is too far to go.

I'm talking to my boyfriend about getting engaged, and I'm really happy about it. But I guess the divorce rate of America scares me. I don't want to end up getting married and having kids only to get divorced. I just want to know if you regret getting married or if you think its great. Thanks

Just this mornig I was getting my children ready for school and out of no where I am being accused of having a affair with my boyfriend from 13 to 14 yrs. ago, maybe even longer, whom was my first boyfriend. I have not even thought of this person in that long, don't know how he's doing or if he is married and could care less. If my husband doesn't stop this crape soon, I am going to just have to get out of this marriage. This is 8yrs. of marriage that I have been dealing with this crape. I have never cheated and don't derserve this treatment, but don't know how to get the respect from him that I derserve. I'm getting worn out, it's hard to even want to work it out with him anymore. You can only take so much, he has hit me a few times over the yrs.and is consantly mentaly abusing me. He makes me feel so stupid sometimes. But I do know I'm not the stupid one, he is, he is the one that is going to break up our family and put our children through hell and I don't know if he even cares.
