It's pretty simple, he likes the fact that he is with someone who is desirable. If you have something, and other people want it, then it becomes more valuable to you. If you have something no one wants then how valuable it is to you?
The date thing crosses the line though.

I don't think this is completely out of the norm. Some husband get into seeing that their wife is still hot. I don't mind if my wife flirts . I don't know if i could ever see her go any further but each to his own. Just be careful and be sure you both understand the possibilities of any actions. This way no one is surprised by the results of your actions. Do you ever discuss if there is anything more then just a date?

Well not having kjids shouldn't mean you are a depressed family. Sounds like you are both a little kinky, nothing wrong with that. Just don't get something on you you can't wash off. If you are both happy with it go for it.
