Anybody ever leave their spouse for another and then realize they had made a mistake? What changed your mind? Did you try again with your ex? What was their reaction? Any regrets?

I work Fri. Sat. and Sun. nights. I homeschool the whole week and tend to household chores. I ask my husband to alternate nights with me to give the kids a bath and brush there teeth. He works 40 sometimes (but rarely) 45 hrs a week. I was so tired Mon. and Tues. that I didn't cook dinner. I mean I already cook 2 times a day and sometimes I don't feel like cooking a 3rd time. He raises hell and says I'm putting everything off onto him. He doesn't seem to think I do much during the day, however I work my butt off. I love my work, though it's sometimes exhausting. However I don't like my weekend job, actually I loathe it. But hubby sits with the kids (most of the time doing no housework) and I go out and work. He relaxes on his weekends only tending to the kids which isn't much besides feeding and putting them to bed. I however work on the weekends and have no relaxing day. I feel he is being unfair in fussing at me for having to help out every other night in bathing etc. the kids. what?

My friend's ex-husband went off on drugs, went to rehab and when he left rehab, he didn't come home to her, he filed for divorce instead. She put up with a hell of a lot of crap from him and still forgave him and stood by him throughout his drug ordeal. She can't understand why he wouldn't have discussed what he was thinking and feeling with her first. What would make him leave this good woman, I can't understand it and neither can she.

My wife recently got pregnant, but she is on the pill so I know it CAN'T be mine. She keeps saying it is, but that's obviously impossible and she won't face up to the evidence and admit her infidelity. There's no way I'm raising some other guy's kid. Again.

I have been married 12 years and have two children. My wife has secretly been contacting (in person, by phone and email) her exboyfriend and I accidently found out about it and she lied to me and denied it until I provided proof. Then she said she lied and hid her relationship with the x because she thought I would be upset. She says that since we have been married he and her have just been friends and that nothing physical will happen with him. She wants me to contact her x and tell him I approve of his and her relationship so that he will keep in contact with her. This is because I spoke to him on the phone and threatended to let his wife know of their relationship if he kept contacting my wife. My wife is verry distraut about losing contact with her xbf and tells me our marriage will be better if she has a contact with her x. What should I do?

I'm in the military and been away from my wife for a while. I return to my homestation this Sat. If your husband, bf etc. was away, other than the gift of seeing him, would kind of gift would you like to get from him when he returns, to really show his love for you. I'm really bad at gifts and lack on the creativity side, but would like to show my wife how much she means to me. Any suggestion would be helpful, no matter how simple or complex...I just need ideas from a woman's perspective. Thanks!

Was it boredom or were you looking for someone "better"? If it was for a "better" guy, how do you define that?

What proportion of divorced couples maintain a relationship that is amicable after divorce? Is it possible to do so? Should you try to do so? What has been your experience or observations of divorced people?

I've been having a hard time seeing them lately.

Touching: a caress of the hand
Compassion: listening to your problems or just listening intently to your words
Romance: candles, poem, a little something special
Tenderness: to be there when your sick and watch over you

So if I don't see any of these am I still loved?

I am pregnant and it was like this last time I was pregnant. I am just really clingy and needy and it even gets on my nerves! I am so not like that at all. I am the most un-clingy wife ever. But I cannot help it. I need some ideas on how to give him his own space. How do I just leave him alone and stop bothering him. He has not really said anything about it and he knows that it is just because I am pregnant. I just don't want to overcrowd him. I call him all the time and I think I am bugging him. What do I do? And how do I leave him alone. Is there anything I can do to try to make up for being to clingy? Thanks!
