I was wondering if the age of a parent is taken into consideration when determining a child custody case ? Someone I know is in a situation, she has a child under five and the baby's father is almost 60 years old. His eyesight is going bad, he drives carelessly, takes antidepressants, has a nasty temper. But besides of that which has to be proven in Court, will his age be a factor, too ? I ask because some Grandparents I also know wanted to get custody of their grandkids but the police told them (they are in their 70's) that the court would not give them custody because they are too old. So my question is, how old is too old for a parent to be to gain custody?

my husband meet this girl one nite we had a fight, they exchange phone #'s . he later found out she was 16, but they remain friends, of coursr by the time i found out she is now 18, he swear they never had sex, just someone to talk to. I also found out he bought her a b-day card for her b-day which is the day after mine. I'm so anger.Please keep in mind he was 26 at the time they met?
should i leave him?

My husband has never even sent me flowers (he brought some home like twice), never had a romantic dinner, and the proposal sucked so bad! We've been together 3 years and we don't have any "special" moments to remember! On our wedding night we had sex with the TV on-at our apartment....whooooo exciting :(
I have tried telling him many times and he says he understands and he will try harder, but it never happens! I feel like I am getting jipped! I know he was like this when i married him, but I thought at least our "wedding night" would be special-ha! Any advise?

Ok here it is,my husband and I have been together for 9 years I have 2 daughters from and earlier relationship,a year into our relationship we had our son..our marriage is really good! But... our kids are now 11,9,6 years old...and I have to admit I do EVERYTHING FOR THEM/and my husband none of them have to do dishes,clean their rooms,bathrooms,do chores and so on...I'd also have to admit my kids are lazy! and very messy...they don't pick up after themselves and whine when I do ask them to clean,maybe thats why I don't ask anybody to help me around the house...It's just easier to do it myself,but I know thats not right...Hubby has stated more then a few times that if I don't change and start making them help out and do work around the house,at the very least clean up after themselves he's leaving me and getting a divorce...so is he just acting like an a s s ? or do I have my head in the sand? He's says I'm not teaching them anything by doing it all for them,but thats how I was raised.

by tall women? Me im five ten and I m sick of men passing me over because of my height, like Im not good enough because Im not the size of a child!
Im nice, rarely get jealous, give my man freedom, have my own money, look great naked, but for all of this I would still get passed over for a short chick.

I love my ex husband dearly. We are actually thinking about getting married again. I love him. I'm pregnant. Yes, it's his. I love how he loves our two other children. He is the perfect man. One problem. I hate to have sex with him. I don't know if it's him or not. I just dislike him touching me in any sexual way. I feel like I am being raped. Sometimes I cry while we are still trying to do it & he has to stop. All I tell him is that it hurts. Other times I just lay there & pray for it to be over. I don't know what to do. I've been married for 15yrs.my husband and I have known each other for 19.We've had our share of ups and downs needless to say more downs than ups.But for the most part we've been true to each other.With that being said I've never given him a reason to not trust me.And he relentlessly says to me that he doesn't trust anyone in his life from me to our kids etc.Now does that seem a little bit odd?I could see if I did something to warrant his untrust but to just flat out not trust I have a very serious issue with that.How is it possible to survive in a marriage where one person has no faith in you whatsoever?My husband is self-employed so his work takes him away from home alot.So I have to trust that he's being faithful to me when he's away on business.I just don't see why he can't do the same.Can anyone shed some light on this for me please?I'd greatly appreciate it.

I am 21 he is 23 I don't want to ge married tomorrow or even a year from now. But the problem is he says that he doesn't want to get married until he is like 35!!! No way am I waiting that long to start my family! How do I let him know that I am on a completely different page (I want to marry at 25-26) and ensure that he won't wait that long to take the plunge? We have a great relationship and have talked about having a life together but I don't want to get a letter from AARP before my kids are out of high school!!! This woman and I were seeing eachother for over a year. We've been back and forth with each other time and time again. Breaking up then going back out. I truly love this woman and really think she's my soul mate. We've had deep conversations about this and she says that she loves me, she knows how I feel about her. My kids REFUSE to accept our divorce and my new boyfriend. I want to marry this man but the kids and my parents are SO mad and SO unaccepting of him. He hasn't done anything to them personally. My kids are 18,20, and l2. My 12 yr. old daughter threatens to live with her Daddy and never come see me. I was a good mother and no one can take that from me. My ex was controlling and abusive. I've been married for two years, with the same man for five years and we have children together. We have had our ups and downs, but life is good for us right now and we both are happy. For some reason though, I'm compelled to cheat on him with another man. No one really in particular... just someone "new." Mind you, our sex life is great, so I don't think that is the problem. My hubby & me have been working together for 10 years now. We have been married for 8 yrs. My Husband has told me that he feels nothing for me (no love, no hate just nothing) I will be starting a new job in the next 2 weeks. He says he doesn't want a divorce or to get seperated but he can't anwser me if he still wants to be married. He likes it when I'm not around. I am soooo very confused at this point. He wants to see how he feels after we are not together so much. This is a second marriage for both of us and I don't want to be a 2x divorced woman!! What are your thoughts on this? We never had a "real" wedding, just a preacher, us, and two witnesses. One of us has been married and divorced since we divorced. Now we are talking about getting married again and I want a "real" wedding this time! He agrees but he's concerned about the "rules" for such an event.
