he drove me up to a beautiful look-out and opened the back gate of the jeep, where he had a crystal champaign holder full of ice, hand dipped chocolate strawberries, cheese and crackers, other assorted yummies and then presented me with a little leather book he made out of his old belt, inside were little brown pages, with burnt edges and each page had a date on it, what we did that made that day special, our first phone conversation, our first date, our first everything, then when I got to the last page it said, "the beginning" instead of "the end". It was wonderful!!!

nicest thing my husband ever did??? give me my son! but that shcmuck is now my x-husband thank God. My b/f on the other hand surprises me with flowers for no reason, has dinner ready when i walk in the door from work, packs a picnic to take to the beach to watch the sunset, buys me little things that make me happy ( a novel i've been waiting for, cute pj's, stuff like that)....if your husbands not good at it maybe you should do the romantic stuff and show him how its done!!!

My husband was romantic before we got married, now he's not so much.
The most romantic thing... We hadn't bought each other Christmas gifts for a few years. Then all of a sudden one year, he buys me diamond earrings.
He said i had mentioned them after seeing a commercial one day.
I didn't even remember it.
That was really sweet.

Little things--he picks up dinner for me when I am tired from work, kisses me in the morning when we wake up and at night before we go to bed. He brings me home tiny treats such as chocolate and cookies (which I love). For our anniversary this year, he let me choose which tennis bracelet I liked.
One time, he surprised me with a duck stuffed toy which quacked when you pressed the hand...my husband treats me really well.

I went out and took the hunters safety course so I could go hunting with my husband. We are hunting with friends on their private property. So we went out and picked our spots, where we will be sitting. So my husband was worried about everything being set up just rightf for me. So he spent his days off from work, cutting pathes, and clearing my area, he even built steps down this small steep hill so he knew I would get down them without falling. Then he took me shopping and bought me everything I need to be warm while I sat out there. What a good hubby! Not too many men would worry about their wives having a pleasureable hunting experience, they would be worrying about themselves. But he just did everything he could to encourage me, and I'm so proud of him.

My husband does so much....he is the epitome of creative and romantic. When we first met, he kept a photo album hidden in his dryer and saved our very first emails. He cut out pictures and saved cards and put it all together for me. We had met through his sister, who approached me in a nail salon and said I'd be perfect for her brother. I accepted his email address, wrote to him, he wrote back and we met a week later. 1 month into our dating, we went wedding ring shopping. 3 months later he proposed and we saved up our money for our dream wedding. He's a pastry chef so he made our wedding cake - it was 5 tiers and absolutely gorgeous with handmade fondant blush roses and grapes and vines. I can't even begin to go into more of it....he buys my birthday and holiday presents months in advance and wraps them up, then leaves them around the house for me to guess and wonder.....he is just wonderful. We've been married 1 year now and I'm honored to be with him.

It's not his fault. Most of us guys get complacent about romance. Our busy lives get in the way. We have to be reminded. Forgive us.

The man in my life gave up everything he had to be with me. He left it all to move to another state to be with me. That is the most wonderful thing he could do to prove how much he loves me.
