... and he says he's "legally married" what does that mean?

I am happily engaged, but wanted to find out for a friend if he is available -- she really digs him. He has a tanline on his wedding finger that could to be from a ring.

I just thought it was an odd response to say, "I'm legally married."

Would a few hours be enough? Or maybe a few days, or a week or so? What do you think and why?

If there is nothing medically wrong with the person, how long should a wife or husband be expected to stay in a sexless marriage?

Why do you have to look at other women when you're around your wife? Don't you know we notice you doing it?!

I'm totally fed up! I'm a stay at home mom and I do ALL the housework. When I ask my husband for help, he'll say he'll do it, but then sits there like a lump (passive/aggressive). It NEVER gets done. We have a large home - 6,000 sq ft so I feel justified to ask for help even though he's working outside of the home. I just want your opinion on what you think is fair. We're locking horns on this and it's causing a lot of frustration.

We do hang-out together on weekends with friends but don't talk that much. Sex is twice a week, maybe at most. I am a female with a high sex-drive so this is driving me nuts! The only time that we seem to be in to each other is when we do projects around the house but he doesn't want to do anything around here anymore.

I work hard and make a good living. I take her places, buy gifts but nothing's enough. She's always grumpy and faults me for everything. She thinks I'm cheating but have never since we've been together and I've told her so. But wifey mistrusts and I don't know why? It's getting to where I can't stand to be around her. Sometimes she doesn't speak to me for days and I haven't a clue why. Life's too short for BS and I'm (seriuosly) thinking of leaving her. Maybe this is a sign there's someone (much) better for me somewhere else. Any advice?

I'm a person who questions everything. I almost always see ways to improve things. It's a good trait for designing things. But when it comes to relationships... I know I will never find a man who is perfect. I would like to hear from other people who always question things. How did you finally know that your significant other was the right one for you even though he/she was not everything you had ever dreamed about?

The wife was hot when I married her, sex life was good. Four years later, she has gained 40 lbs. and does nothing about it. I'm no prize, but I weigh the exact as I did. I have heard all kinds of advice about how to suggest it, etc. Women always say "you should love somebody no matter what." Baloney. We all have a "looks threshold". In other words, you won't be interested in somebody unless you are physically attracted to them. Would you date and marry an 800 lb man? Would you care if your husband suddenly grew a gigantic Grizzly Adams beard? What if he started braiding his armpit hair? Love him no matter what, right? Say nothing, right?
So here is my idea. I will now work to gain 100 lbs to become a big disgusting slob. Let's see if my wife likes it and says anything. Maybe she will see the light.
P.S. If you are going to rip on me, at least make it funny. Before you do, ask yourself how many pounds your significant other could gain before you said something.

My husband secretly attended a wine tasting bar alone with a single female co-worker I've never met. They don't feel they did anything wrong - they are "just friends". After discovering this, he admitted that during the last 6 mos. they have done platonic things together (alone & with other co-workers) that were kept secret from me. I thought he was working at the time. He admitted to sharing details of our troubled marriage to her on more than one occasion beginning about 6 mos.ago. She even took him out to lunch to talk about it. I confronted her about going out on a Friday night alone with MY husband & she denied it at first but then admitted to it & acted like they had done nothing wrong. She's well aware of our marital situation and yet thinks there's nothing wrong with this. I believe he's been having an emotional affair with her. I know she may not be aware he's keeping all this a secret, but isn't she to be held accountable for he actions if she is aware of our situation?

I have several questions in this regard. Why do women have to constantly diet, only to get fat again, then diet some more. Why do they make sure they look hot as hell for their wedding, and then become flabolas after the wedding? Why do they wonder why their men are no longer attracted to them when they gain 40 ponds? Why are the men seen as being Shallow, when they are no longer attracted to their KFC bucket hugging wife?
