Can you tell me if you wished it never happened and came to realize that it was lust and want to make right with your spouce OR was there to much guilt to want to come home and moved on OR what did you feel emotionally.

Thanks for your insight.

I've been married for 20 years. My husband and I don't seem to talk much anymore. We work all week long and on the weekends I'm so depressed I just want to stay in bed anymore. We don't seem to have anything in common. It seems when we had to struggle to survive when we were younger we were always strong together and now when life and things come a little easier we have nothing left. I feel so alone! Maybe to much time, life's strife and words have passed under the brige for us? And as sad as this make me I'm not sure I even care anymore. Any advice would be appreciated.

A man loves me...a married man. His wife is violent and I know this as I heard this from his son too (who is a decent boy), and she would come with long canes, knives, bottles in her hand and throw at her son out of rage. Her socio-economic status also doesnt match his. He has tried a lot but has failed in his endeavour so much so that he has fallen in love with me as we gel very well. but since he has lived with his wife for so many years , he says he loves his wife. He says that he loves both of us just as we love both our eyes. His wife has been always suspicious of him as he is a doctor. She is taking medicines for anxiety. His wife has given him 2 children n so he wont divorce his wife as this would affect his children and also bcoz he doesnt want to commit sin.

I've been married 10 years. It's been up and down for the last 8 because he cheated on me twice, once when I was pregnant and another a few years later. Anyway lately we seem to be on a downward spiral, and he has a double personality (one minute he's friendly and normal, the next he can be nasty and agressive). And when I say I want to talk about our problems he won't, he clams up and says that he can't be bothered with it anymore. I don't know whether our marriage can be saved. We have debts in my name that I wouldn't be able to afford on my own, we rent our property and again I wouldn't be able to afford the cost of living alone (the south of the UK is extremely expensive). I don't want to move away because it would upset my 2 young children as one has started a new school and I need to be close to my elderly parents. I'm scared of being a single mum. He wouldn't go to counselling either, he's too stubborn. Any advice from people going or have gone through the same please?

I am the widowed mom of a wonderful little boy....
I have dealt with serious hardships, and I thought I knew exactly where i stood...
Tonight, while out with friends, my son's Dad's(my husband died five years ago)cousin approached me to let me know how serious he felt about me....
i guess maybe I've known he has felt for me befoe now, but I just denied it.
He claims to have loved me for years, and finally wanted to have it out in the open....he flat out said, "look, this may be hard to hear, but I love you....it isn't going to change"
I care for him alot too. He was always our best friend, and I care for him even more deeply because of the loss we have both shared...but I am so shaken up.
I do love him, but not in the way he wants... I guess I could see how he thinks we could be compatable, but there would be serious family issues with this, even though we aren't related...
this family has had enough hurt...
what can I say that won't hurt him? He's like a best friend?

We hung out together, went places together. He bought her lots of expensive gifts. Jewlery for Christmas, I got a $30.00 massage cert. She lied and told her husband our friendship had come to an end due to my jealousy. My husband finally told her husband the truth the whole truth, and transfered to a different building.

A friend of mine recently remarried a man she met while they both had just seperated from their former spouses after decade long marriages for the both.My friend's new wedding was almost to the same date of her first and they honeymooned at the EXACT same place as she had with her first husband (when she was a poor college student and couldn't afford anything more) which I find disturbing. Any thoughts on this?

"Dump the jerk"-sort of response, fine, but why don't you move on to the next question?
Else, read on. Assume you are me: 42 years old reasonably intelligent, reasonably attractive, reasonably emotional woman. Your mum is dying. It is quite unexpected but very clear.
You are visiting back home with the children for one week, to be with mum. Husband happens to visit the town for work and lets you know he is going out for great dinner. You suggest he may want to invite you. He does. Whole dinner takes place with 2 new colleagues. Fine food, ok conversation (your mum is dying, remember). Not a single sign of "I am with you" or "how was your day?" etc. End of evening. About to jump in cab (all 4 going our own way). Hubby finally comes closer for a sort of "good bye kiss" (and possibly "I am with you" stuff??). Mind you, the secret message is: "don't forget to ask for a receipt". This is his way of being with me, not a one off. Otherwise a chap who has qualities. Your reactions? Is it me?

I asked a question like this a few minutes ago called to hard lline and an answer was given that made me want to ask this one.

Situation is this... He had an affair and moved out but says he still loves me but is not ready to move back in and be a family. We have a child. I still love him think hes worth loving in spite of all that has happened. is that right or wrong?
