i am married with three children, my first born is turning 22 on the 15 december this year and the last child but one is 12 years old. my problem now is that i have another child outside marriage who is three years old after my husband deserted the family for more than six years since 1997. Am i in trouble of having the child outside the recommended marriage since the husband was away without my knowledge? I reported the matter to the magistrate court and he was charged with deserting family charge of which he has been paying maintenance for his three children and he stopped it after i gave birth to the fourth child who is not his in 2003. Now the guy wants to come back to the family according to his statement, and he's now asking for reconcilliation from me but he's saying he want to sue the new child's father for compensation saying the guy has destroyed his marriage. My question is, does it worth it for my husband to sue the guy though he was the one who ran away from his family?

I have lost my wife of 24 years because I now know I failed to meet her needs. I know now how crazy it has been to raise our six kids and me. She needed to bail and now I can understand why only after going throuh it for the past three months alone. I still love her but cann't reach her emotionally. I know that if I can show her I understand, she may fall in love with me again. I want to learn what I can do. I want to be her man again. I have been the provider and protecter but not the man she needs emotionally. I am 44 and want to start over with her. What can I do that would start this process? I am serious and would like to change because she is worth it. As a man I was blind to her needs, what she really needs, not what the world tells a man but what a woman wants to tell a man. Help! I am ready to do for her. I do not want to just change and let my change be benefited by another, I want her (my wife) to have all I can give. Thanks ahead of time for being helpfully candid.

Hi! there I m 23 n wife 22. we are having a great love life. but now a days she doesnt get turned on. we make love over the phone. and we come almost all the times. My wife told me it's over 3 months ago. She told me she is attached to a co-worker at a job she started 2.5 years ago and her relationship with him is just one of those things that happened. Her involvement with this man has been for 2 years.Since she has moved out she says, only kissing,drinking,touching & have slept in the same bed,but no sex. She left me and our kids 3 months ago,after being married 24 years, and has stayed with a girl friend from the same job. This guy has stayed there, too. Now, she has rented a 2 bedroom apt. and says that they(her & the guy) are moving in together but just as room-mates, and that is it. Why does a person lie to not hurt another and then when the lie comes to the surface they say i didn't want to hurt you. I know I should move on and raise the kids, but It is hard to walk away from a 24 year relationship, just like that. The guy is married and cant afford a divorce and has 3 kids. I believe she is under outside influence & likes her new freedom.
