How much or what should be kept a secret? What if you've been hiding something you probably should have shared, but are too afraid to tell?

If it's something that will affect OUR relationship (like STD's for example) YES, in my opinion it's very important to share this. Anything else irrelevant I don't share as this has the potential to cause more damage than good.

i have shared past secrets and have lived to regret it. they did not affect my partner.only stuff that happened to me but during his very insensitive moments he threw these things back at me so just tell him what relevant to the both of you the rest maybe when it really matters
