Not married but all of my friends are and they treat thier wives like gold, and they are still gutter-sIuts.

a week ago my husband confessed that he got a prostitute and had an oral s3x and s3x. he told me he cant hadle that guilt and he realized that he loved me more and promised me that he wouldnt sleep with another woman ever again... i was crushed about what he did, i cant seem to forget. but still i forgave him and gave him another chance but its so hard to forget. i know i did everything to please him. do you think what he did (confessing) was the right thing and how can i forget? was i stupid to forgive him? whats your thoughts about this?

I was thinkin about proposing to my gf, not right now exactly but sometime in the near future and I can't think of a way to do it, just curious on how everyone has done it, maybe it will spark something to create a fun and creative way that means something to her?!


Oh and how much should you spend on the engagement ring? I read on the internet 2 months salary should be the starting point...

I have tried to tell him many times and in many ways. He doesn't want the divorce, but I definitely do. We have each started individual counseling and I am trying to find the strength to tell him and get him to accept it. The house is my parents. They recently sold it to us. Therefore, I am not leaving, but am having a hard time getting him to leave. Anyone have any suggestions? The only way I see it happening is to file and have him served without him knowing it's coming. This seems too cruel even for me.

We were recently talking about marriage and have before in the past but she said she wants to keep her last name which is Valiant, and not change it to mine which is Read.. now she says she likes my name but she rather keep hers she feels its strong and all that. But I would normally have no problem with it, but it bugs me and I have no idea why... I would just realy like her to have my name, i mean i've never known anyone not to take the mans name. And i know there is all this equality but why does she want this so bad and I dont' know why I disagree with it so much! I don't know what to think, any help would be appreciated greatly!

me and my wife are going through a divorce and she has told me that she and her family are taking my 4 year old girl on holiday to Florida on New Years Day ! I said I was not happy with that and she turned round and said it is a once in a lifetime holiday but how can it be they went there last year, I do not want her taking my daughter is there any way I can stop it happening ?

ok..i will try to keep this short, but no promises there!!
my friend is married to this guy who controlled her and their two young daughters, she wasn't allowed to see people, go out, do anything really, wasn't allowed to talk to me etc. he kept her under lock and key, almost like a prisoner in her own home. he tried to strangle her the other day, so she left him with the girls. he went back to england (where he came from) and didn't even tell her he was going.while he was gone she did some snooping in his office and found that he had been on the net chatting to women all over the world, collecting naked pictures and videos of them and telling these women he loved them and how crap and ugly his wife is. she also found out that he has just gone to sweden to meet up with one of his internet girlfriends. her daughters are only like 6 and 4 and they are both happy he is gone. anyway, she hasn't been coping with it all and he rang her the other day begging for her back. she is giving in..

I was in what seemed to me a loveless relationship for 25yrs. And I say relationship because we've never married. But we had 4 kids during that time, 2 are already grown, 1 is about to graduate high school next year and the last is 12yrs. old. For the past 20yrs. he hasn't treated me like the woman he fell in love with. He doesn't hug me, he doesn't kiss me unless I kiss or hug him first, he doesn't hold my hand or nothing. He won't even tell me he loves me unless I say it first. We don't even talk to each other. The only time he tries to talk to me is when he wants me to do something for him, and thats all the time. And at first I didn't mind doing things for him because I loved him and I know God wanted me to do those things for him because he was my man. But he treats me like I was his personal servant. So much that our kids started treating me the same way. To the point where I started feeling depressed and all used up. So I took off, moved across the country and left everybody.
