Marriage & Divorce - 24 August 2006

He has called off the engagement twice, and now we are engaged again, we have a daughter and a 5 year relationship, things have been really rough but now we feel that we are both adults, mind you we are really never on the same page. I love him but, I sorta don't think he really loves me the way I love him, am I delusional? Our daughter is 4 years old so , we have not had much time in knowing each other. We now feel that we are getting to know each other. He has no enthusiasm about getting married, he can't even make up his mind about a date! What should I do? I have kinda given up on the whole marriage thing. Am I just hoping for a miracle?

Two years ago I discovered an affair, cheater cheating with an employee. (the situation, circumstances were terrible . . .) We now have a decent marriage (not perfect, but really great). I still suffer (not as bad), but the lady he cheated with is still working for him (and she's pregnant, went back with her ex).

Any thoughts from folks that have gone through a similar situation?

My second ex did not raise my son. now my grand child shows me pictures of how my second ex husband 's wife who is the same person he was seeing while I was living with him.
Am I wrong to feel my son and grandchild turn trader to me ?

My husband willingly seeked out a position in another state. He is currently commuting weekly and is home on the weekends. There are times when he will be home during the week and works from home. He will stay in office all day only to come out and give attention to things that are important to him. Such as gym, furniture shopping, etc. I think it is important that he take time out to interact during breaks to have have dinner with us or spending time with our 2 year old. It would be nice if he would GIVE me a break. I provide care for 4-5 children at a time and he never offers a break to me. I did not sign up for this and feel like a single parent.

Thanks for the answers, but I do all the things everyone was saying. Believe me I do BJ, I walk around the house with nothing on but T-shirts, because that's what he likes, and even with his football jersey on with nothing on underneath. What I want to know is what are some little things I can do, like should I just go behind him after practice and grab him or slap him on the butt or something. We got everything else going. I mean as far as him being aroused he is aroused just with me being in the room with him. So little things you know while my daughter is in the room. Because she always is. And I know it's not a sin, believe me I know that.(LOL) I just think I might just be afraid to let go again or something. Talk to me peeps!

no your honest opinion i respect its how you word it listen none was askin to pay the bills and believe me i dont float from job to job but in my opinion i think if someone doesnt goout anymore and just tries to get back on his feet then you know what i wouldnt give himn hell .....if he was always goin out then thats another thing ...like she said it is a partnership but as i see it now if you need to put in your match.com profile of how much your ideal partner has to mmake then.....i dunno thats kinda nervy

Please give me some advice on how to handle this situation. My husband told me that I used to be a freak all the time(LOL!!)But every since we both got more spiritual that I kinda stopped doing some things. Don't get me wrong now, I do the thang in bed, he is satisfied with the sex but I guess I kinda let my guard down and I would like to know what is something that I could do suprisingly to entice him even further. I'm sharing my life with this man that hurt me a lot of times, rigth now I dont know if it's better to leave him or what. i've been with my fiance for three years now and i love him but i'm not at all attracted to him anymore. his ways & filthy habits have become so gross to me that i really don't want him touching me. i don't know if i'm shallow or if he could do better with his upkeep and hygene, it's like he knows i love him and he "has" me and he doesn't even try to keep his looks up to par. i sware he is like so many women i hear guys complain about once they get the ring and they let themselves go.

I feel like he ignores me, and only pays attention os chats with me if I tell him I want to have sex.......we have been married for 4 year (a nice marriage) but lately he has been disconnected, like summerged in his own world. he works at home so it is not like he is cheating, could someone please help.
