First year anniversary is "Paper".
I would suggest getting a set of airline tickets to somewhere special just for you and her. She will be totally thrilled if it is someplace that she has always wanted to go for a fun weekend or week.
She deserves every ounce of your respect and let her know that you value her sense of Trust and People at the same time with this. She will be impressed.

even though this may sound corny...but if you're not looking to spend too much money...make her a scrap book...of the past year you two have spent together...okay maybe not a scrap book but a card...you'll really score points with that...even if you didn't save alot of things you did together...but get magazines, or old pic's and put them together...add stuff that you like about her or remind you of her and good times...that would be so cute...it doesn't matter how much you add to the scrap book...she'll know you put time and alot of thought into it...sooo cute!!
